The "P2W" Update - The prices are pretty tame

So, the update that had everyone in an uproar is live on the servers now... and I have to say, it isn't all that impressive.
Outfits + weapons seem to go for a good 17-19 million... and since they cost 30$ to buy, that's not all that great. The hardcore grinders can make that sort of money in an hour or two (depending on how much RNG smiles upon them, it could be less or far more even).

Mighty kind of you, good Sir. Maybe one day I'll actually be as enlightened as you are.

I'd expect that many of the people who would be buying the pearl shop goods if they weren't upset about the changes aren't precisely because they're upset about the changes.  Meanwhile, the whales who are excited that they can now pay to win are more inclined to flood the market early.  Surplus supply and depressed demand add up to reduced prices.  Which, of course, makes a game less "pay to win" than it would otherwise be.

The marketplace (in-game auction house) is controlled by Kakao.  Prices do fluctuate, but within limits set by Kakao.

The initial 20m limit is obviously there to soften the blow of p2w.  And it's true, you will not be buying all that much "winning" by spending 150 dollars for 100m silver a week.

Problem is they can change that limit any time they feel like, and surely will if pearl shop sales dip.

Players would have to spend A LOT of money to be able to afford nice things.
