I have absolutely no problem with waiting for FFXV. They can take as long as they desire...

Agree, rushing games because the publisher wants it is soooo 2010

There hasn't been a good Final Fantasy since IX, so I'm not exactly holding my breath.

This one is action orientated and so even though I love Final Fantasy to bits I will be skipping this.

=( no love for 12? I didn't really care for the story of 12 but the combat and side activities were fun. Then again I did spend 100+ hours in 10 mainly on blitzball (racking up another 30 hours so far since it got ported to pc lol).

It better be worth the wait. Final Fantasy makes great games so if they think they need more time to make it the best they can, I support it.

I'm okay, is one of those games that if rushed ends up on a shitstorm. For the level of expectation involved better take your time...

This game is going to be badass.

I will be picking this one up for sure.

With as long as we've been waiting for this game, another couple of months is no big deal. And because of how long we've been waiting, the game is going to receive some of the harshest criticism possible upon its release. I'm glad they delayed it so they can polish things up. People can complain about the gameplay, story, and characters if they like, but hopefully putting some more time into the game will mean the critics won't be able to throw on heaps of complaints about lag, low framerates, freezing or crashing as well, among other technical issues. I'd rather have a decently or even well-functioning game on release than a broken one we have to wait several months to be patched just for it to reach playable levels.

That said, I look forward to buying and playing the newest installment of Final Fantasy. So far, nothing has topped X for me in terms of FF games, but I do hope this one can at least compete with it, even if it's action-oriented, as opposed to turn-based combat.

Disappointing, but not to be unexpected. In fact, I'll actually be surprised when this title does finally ship.
