The latest The Division State of the Game Broadcast has just wrapped up with a frank discussion of a game needing attention. Rather than release the next DLC, Ubisoft and the development team will spend the next couple of months working on hotfixes to address the most pressing issues, and that v1.4, rather than being the Survival DLC, will be a patch dedicated to addressing larger, more encompassing bugs in the game.

Agreed. I still believe the game has a lot of potential.
Yeah it does. But the game it copied had the same exact problem as it. They should have realized not having any end game that was worth doing, with a very short single player campaign, was going to kill of their game. The pvp was fun, but the gear was worthless, and the game itself needed more variety in almost every aspect. The same 4 enemy types, and the same instance runs weren't going to have replay value. The gear grind wasn't worth the small amount of gameplay. They need a Taken King type of expansion to make the game worth playing.

They can take their game they released a year early AT LEAST and shove it up their you know what.
NOW they want to listen to the community that has mostly left? For tips and ideas? Input?

"Ubisoft is also committed to involving the community in honest discussions about what needs to be fixed, what features might be interesting to include and so on. Players will be invited to Massive to check out 1.4 and work with the development team to hammer out any pressing issues. This will be at no cost to players and will include all segments of the community."

I threw up in my mouth. They refused to hear us from the get go about our thoughts on the game and what was needed to make it the AAA it could of been. Im too the point with them I just dont give a flying F what they say. I will never buy another Ubisoft game. So they now are trying to give themselves a few months to "fix" their game. They are only trying to give the perception that they give a shit. They really dont. At all. Do you know how much they got from ppl who bought that fucking pile of shit called the division? A lot. Season Pass? A lot. Im one of them. I got on the hype train and ate all the food they fed me.

I really really really really really wanted the division to be great, i dropped for the season pass too...

Now I want it to burn. They made me so jaded towards them I watch their SOTG slappping them in the face with my 8===) repeating "Were looking into it"

I wanted to buy this game when it launched but I bought some other games and by the time I got around to this I was reading all the negative stuff and I became hesitant. I would not PvP though and if the single player campaign is not worth the price I will not buy it. Pity I did love the concept.

Enjoyed the game enough that the price I paid was worth it but I don't trust that company at all. I lost trust as soon as they refused to say that glitching was not cheating. They proved quickly that they really did not want to do anything that would lose them people playing the game even as employees streamed while in parties of people who had glitched the game while saying these people would show us how to complete content fairly.

My friends and I still plays this game about once a week. I am a little disappointed that the DLC will be delayed for such a time. It actually makes me think that they are having trouble withe DLC and can't deliver it. However, I do think that many of the changes that the fixes will address are sorely needed.

My exact thoughts. They were about to release what seemed to be the most complex DLC so far yet and now all of a sudden they want to get to the root of The Divisions problems and spend the next months fixing stuff? I lol'd hard.

You know what sign of committment would be in regards to Ubisoft? Hiring more people to deliver their DLC on time (which some people paid for in advance anyways) WHILE being able to bugfix their once promising game that became exploiters heaven with every new patch.

On top of that, it is pretty clear that they have no clue that its not only bugs that made players leave in droves. It is also their complete lack of conceptual understanding for a game of this scale. You only need to look at those "armor sets" that are by far the worst implementation of set-based items in a long time.

It really is a shame. I had so much fun with The Division until the first incursion hit the game, although there were a lot of gamebreaking exploits present even right from the start. Too bad Ubisoft wasn't able to react to most of the early lifetime exploits before their effect rippled through the playerbase.
