Naval themes seemed to be out in force at Gamescom. If it wasn't spaceships in the void, it was more down to earth ships cutting through the high seas. Black Desert Online was very much included in this and is working towards their Margoria expansion. Kakao Games, formerly Daum Games, along with Pearl Abyss have invited us to try our hands at sailing the Margorian seas and awakening new power in your characters.

I love this game..... BUT the PVP is broken and the grind to get your gear is endless and expensive......

What a complete waste of development resources when the game needs an end game.  The horrible pvp certainly is not it.  Why waste a beautiful game adding ships when it just collapses at high level.  Give me a reason to play beyond endless grind and fix the pvp while you are at it.

" You can choose to take up the awakening weapon and utilize the other skills or go without. "

Don't be fooled, the awakening skills do WAY more damage than your regular ones, taking them will be absolutely mandatory.

I disagree with you a bit on the part about game needs a end game.....I do not feel mmorpgs NEED end game as there really is no end game when content and game is always expanding. Perhaps a good solid time sink yes but no end game imo is needed as that to me stifles future content.

Ok so what do you do in this game at max level since the pvp is so bad?  So yeah, your post kind of makes you wonder.  Even UO had a end game, there were lots of things to do at max skill level and that was a sandbox which this game is not.

You just do not understand what a MMO is, that is quite obvious.
