No I'm not ready, even though I got a good email from Blizzard with a series of video links that are supposed to bring me up to speed. My plan is to use today to get ready. Looking forward to it.

I am so set for 3am ET, though I hope the datacenter is more prepared than I am.

If all previous expac releases are any indication........ well... you know the answer already.

You better off getting a good night sleep and sit it out. I know I do. Legion will be waiting for me tomorrow after work.
Could care less about world firsts.... never cared for it, never will.

If Sylvanus was wc before WoD, horde garrisons would've probably looked better. Sorry Bliz, but an inn isn't a giant hut with a bunch of dudes sharing the space...

This is what I want to say too but grraaaahh! I've come to grips that WoW is a playable novel but these storyline teasers are wearing on me....

This is from a person who wants to play an open world sandbox type of RPG but has also read a lot of Warcraft lore outside the game and I love it...

    /sigh the struggle is real.

    Spoiler alert: We're gonna win

I enjoy seeing what happens with the story more than I do actually "playing" the game for the last couple expacs. After every one there are only a few things you can take with you to the next that has value like lvls, gold, few profession/dungeon/rep items & of course the MEMORIES.

Would agree, even though I felt WoD was lackluster as a whole, the story was worth the money of the xpac. I hadn't felt such motivation to play WoW for the story since WotLK tbh.

That said, the Legion is so boring to me but those pvp ranks should keep me busy for a little bit on a few toons.

I'm ready. I was able to hit 100 on my Druid Sunday. Perfect timing and I'm pumped to start hitting demons, and Sylvanas if possible, with G'Hanir.

Actually this kind of mentality should become a norm for every game and every gamer! Too often we all act impulsively based on hype alone or lures packaged in "Founders" packs.

Devs definitely earn all the money but not after they show us quality first.

This quote is why we need a thumbs down button! After what she did to Varian I want to see her burn. I think she still has 4 of her 9 lives left though. Just means it will take us a while. No worries, the Alliance is patient...

Did you not see the Horde cinematic for the pre-launch content?

Same here. It's kind of fun to watch it on Twitch though. Can't deny the WoW hype.

I have no desire to play myself, however.

The gameplay might be old but holy crap is the lore from this game good.  I dont know of any other game that I have spent so much time reading the lore/books/fan stories of.  I probably have more time reading the lore from Warcraft than playing the MMO.

Going to sleep now, so far, great experience. :-) Did not like many changes to classes, hate gylphs removal (except cosmetic one), dumbing down even further game, no housing,.... but now I'm happy. :-) Will be able to judge in next weeks.

Have you looked at the artifacts? I completely disagree that anything was 'dumbed down'

I only stayed for an hour after "launch" and the experience was smoothest since well I guess ever, since I have fist played an MMO.

No lag, no unresponsive npcs', no contest over mobs, queue just before midnight was reportedly roughly 1 hour (Draenor EU).

There's no reason not to expect the same for US side tho you got different Internetz and datacenters.

One way or another I'm sure, like always, people will find stuff to complain about and such is life :)
