The $300k Overwatch Open finals will be airing tomorrow night at 10 pm est on TBS.
There are still a few matches to be played leading up to it, which you can see today in the morning on Twitch.
I've watched many of the games- the production is very good- especially impressed with the "camera" work, as they switch from a 3rd person moving overhead view to the 1st person view. Sometimes they miss some action but it's inevitible with how fast-paced Overwatch is.
Some of the players are really amazing. It's funny when I see people saying how Overwatch has a low skill cap and then watching the stuff these guys are able to pull off.
Only small complaint I have is nano-boosted reaper ults are dominating matches, and nobody's really figured out a good way to counter it. Ana is getting nerfed soon (probably next week), but for now you see this decide fights way too often imo.
Otherwise, it's been a great display of skill and coordination. Highly recommend checking it out!

Very cool how Overwatch lends itself to being an "e-sport". It will be interesting to see how people unfamiliar with the game react to the finals on TV tomorrow night.
