imageNew 5v5 PvP Mode Coming October 13th

Battleborn News - The Battleborn site has been updated with a developer blog about a new PvP game mode coming to the game and that will be a free addition to all players. Called Face-Off mode, the battleground pits teams of five against one another in a fifteen minute battle. Players are charged with staying alive, killing Varelsi and collecting masks in order to win.

    You can't have a 5v5 mode if only 5 people play at a given time....

    What else could the devs do to spark interest back in their game? The only few options being changing the pricing model and adding new stuff into their game with the hopes that players will come back and check it out. And besides, they have a season pass deal, which means they are pretty much forced to come out with the DLC or face huge backlash.

    Well it did get people playing Evolve again. Doesn't help that Paladins is out and is pretty much the exact same game only free.

    Gotta give these guys credit for trying to get people back into their game rather than just giving up.

    Shorter duration games are always a +

    They already said no F2P plans, but a limited trial version will come out months from now.

    Another nail in the coffin. Karma's a bitch, Gearbox.

    Thats misleading... those numbers are on peak time.

    The Borderlands franchise made them cocky. After that they just made series of mediocre and garbage game. Seriously adding another 5v5 when the ppls that playing it is under 300 ppls?

    I dunno about huge. 300 people can be moderately annoying at worst.
