Still in the Top 10 on Twitch.

Right behind WoW and ahead of FIFA and Battlefield 1 which recently launched.

Destiny is one of the must successful games to come out this generation.

Destiny 2 is going to be one of the biggest games of next year if not the biggest. The only thing that will be bigger is if we get a new Grand Theft Auto.

Just FYI. BF1 has NOT launched. It's origin / ea-access subscribers only with a time-limit per sub, which is about 0.5% of Battlefield playerbase.

I think it will be even bigger if they finally get off their asses and port it to PC.  I don't currently have any consoles, but I was really hoping Destiny was going to make its way to PC at some point.  I'll take the sequel if that's my only option.

Destiny should have been ported to PC.

Destiny II has already been confirmed for PC though.

Actually if you read that article all that is listed is rumors and unidentified sources that it is coming to PC. No real confirmation is provided.

I'd still rather play most sequels over the original.

    Final Fantasy VI
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
    Witcher 3

I'm actually harder pressed to think of an original video game I'd rather play. I think it has to do with the iterative process of software design over the prospect of creating an original and better story if you were writing a book or screenplay.
    Agreed

A little different than the movie industry. The big thing about video games and sequels is that technology doesn't stand still.
