OK, so I thought that I won't even bother with this game since Webzen is publishing it, but my curiousity got the best of me and I decided to give it a try and so far I have to say that I'm actually liking it. Of course I'm only level 26, so it's hard to say if the game is any good or not. Only once I see the end-game will I'll be able to make a proper judgement.
Also so far there aren't any hints that it's p2w, but you never know... Webzen after all.

Surprisingly decent so far. It's not groundbreaking in any way but does have good combat and it look like activity variety is good enough when I look at list of dungeons in "duty room" (though some seems to be disabled now? idk). But I have to say that it feels more like mmofied D3 copy than MU online for the most part. Upside is that level grind seems to be much easier so far (but it might be too early to tell for sure). Good question is what payment model will be like because webzen isn't known for great management in that regard.

I also was not expecting much but this game is really good.

It's pretty good, imagine d3 with trading and end game.

Got to level 6 for my war mage and so far seen 2 things I dont like:
    1. you can easily get surrounded by spiders and not able to move until you get teleport skill.
    2. the typical Asian bend over running style. What is the meaning of running like that in the wide open?
    3. too few classes and gender locked.
Besides that then UI, gameplay, sound and graphics seems OK

I like it too so far. Level 7, Soul Level 6 on a War Mage. But MAN the lag is real. Definite server overload right now. Still, unless Webzen screws the cash shop, this is a pretty good gem of a game so far.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

The movement is not very good. Your character will stop moving immediately if you click down, move your mouse and release. No games work like that. And it's not gonna change because somehow no one complain about it even though it's totally different from the norm.

So far the game is surprisingly good - outside of strange running animation and horrendous zone loading time (3-4min). At least I don't want to uninstall it after 30min like Diablo3.

    Thank you for your time!

There was no lag earlier, but about the time I wrote my post it started lagging really bad. My guess is that Webzen didn't expect so many people to actually try the game I guess lol, though it makes you wonder why they would hand out thousands of keys more than they can handle.
Still I expect that they will handle the lag soon(er hopefully).

Amazing game. Played from 6am-noon (the minute beta opened, before the server issues) Literally have been wanting a game like this for ages. the perfect mix of MMO and ARPG. Cant find one thing I dislike. Keep it mind its closed beta, servers will be fixed soon. Level 30/29 Blader. Once servers get fixed I will jump right back in.

Webzen's management will not destroy this game IMO. They have been working on the game for a long time and know what works and doesn't work when it comes to a business model. MU Legend is their baby. I would expect a business model like GGG's Path of Exile, which I'm totally fine with. I personally think it should be a B2P title

What is interesting is that servers are obviously getting slammed, but combat seems to be client side and unaffected once you actually load into instance? Kind of curious how they will tackle cheating in such case.

Got to 29 this morning before the servers went all wonky, good solid game of its type with some nice features. Love the repeatable random dungeon generator, ran 10 repeats of a dungeon and never had the same dungeon twice. Also the special dungeons that you access via rare drop items are hella challenging which I really like.

I spent 2 hours in the library trying to beat it solo this morning and it chewed through my potions like candy.

However for the past 8+ hours the game has been completely unplayable, and adding a second server did not fix the issues. I hope they can get it working again soon.

It runs really smooth today (compared to yesterday when I had to wait like 5 minutes for NPC's to spawn in dunegons). I'm having fun, game looks good, skills are nice etc etc.

I have only one complaint - this game feels like a total Diablo rip-off. Come on, they even have treasure goblins in dungeons... So it's sort of Diablo 3.5 with some mmo mechanics and more systems added.

That being said, I'm going to log in now and play more. Loot is waiting for me!

Man, as a veteran player of the origin MU Im not sure how I feel about this sequel. By today themepark standard, it's pretty good although the soul level screams D3 paragon to me.
Maybe months of grinding mobs in the few same spots for 250 exp each for 1.2 billion exp per level from the origin MU messed with my MMO sense, heh.
