...only reason for me not to play the game is that it's a Russian hosed game. With the way Russian laws handle data privacy (or rather lack of it - ANY governmental institute can request data without a court warrant) I'm avoiding those publishers like the pest...
You probably should tell people why it's bad. I think that would be a huge help.
I'm not playing it because, for my taste, there is too much ridiculousness in it. Also it seems like a hodge podge of ideas. You can have a mount, you can fly, you can fly with wings, they might as well throw in rocket packs while they are at it.

All i need to know is that its Russian. That's enough for me.

The game itself is Chinese, but the publisher (my.com) is Russian (my.com originated from mail.ru and while it's registered at the London Stock Exchange, it still has to abide Russian laws )
Yea my character is stuck on trading ship with no way to advance, no npc to speak to,nothing. They just patched and said all was fixed and guess what still stuck on trading ship. Hope they get it together.
The localization is horrible but the base game is going to be deemed "average" by most people's standards. I like the base game so far and the systems it will have in place once the game is officially launched. As for My.com, that will remain to be seen how they handle the future CBT phases and the actual launch.
I was looking forward to this beta since I have been playing on the Chinese client on and off for a couple months now. Well, the NA version is harder to understand than the CN version with the crappy google translate patch I was using. I'm really disappointed that they made the decision to put this out in such an unfinished state. A few random things poorly translated or something would be understandable, but this is unplayable. You can't understand half of it and some things are completely blank. All this is doing is perpetuating all the negative opinions people have had about these western versions of eastern games. Really bad move on the part of my.com. This after they already delayed this beta for two weeks because they said it was more important to get it right than to meet the oct. date they set. You guys failed badly.
They did clarify that this test is meant to be a hardware check for the server and network first. And a game test second. With that in mind, I still think it's ridiculous that they allow you to get to lvl49 and participate in a good amount of the content. But only have 1/5 of it translated so you can actually know what you're doing.
I intend to give this game a fair shake when it's released, assuming localization is done properly. But I'm hanging it up for now, until that time comes.
As an experienced game tester. I'm not wasting my time playing a game and giving feedback when I can't even read the help/tutorial information or understand what's going on in the story. I can't give them feedback on an object having a slow spawn if I don't know I'm supposed to wait for one. Or that certain character/npc models aren't loading or displaying properly because there's so many people I can't even see my own character half the time.

One of the fairest reviews I've seen for this game. Everyone else is "there are bugs in this CBT, I want a refund."

You must mean those Russian National Security Letters that prohibit any company receiving one to say anything about it. Yeah those are terrible especially because the Russians have to contact the US embassy first before getting one of those.
Thank GOD no US company ever received one of those before because that secret court would have totally thrown that one out except maybe for cases like AT&T, Microsoft, Google, Facebook or Reddit. You might think Twitter but those guys went to court to make it know they received a RNSL ; )
But hey, feel free to hate the Russians... and keep up that Hillary vote. You dont want to disappoint Sharia law which gave millions to her campaign!
edit: how do you "hose" a game? is that some Olympic form of free gardening? And people think that only Russia can employ non literate propagandists
