Replaying Neverwinter Nights

Yes I am replaying Neverwinter Nights and its still fun like it was when I first played.  Maybe its just me but somehow I'm not missing any gameplay features that are present in the newer games.  Graphics of course could be better but the gameplay is just too fun to ignore the rest.  I also cannot believe how much of the game I forgot.
Are you onto something or just on something?

    I appreciate that you liked it but I never did, I just never found it as enjoyable as BG2 or even NWN 2

    Biowares version I guess? It was named after another game, the first online multiplayer RPG ever and there is of course Cryptics MMO as well.

    I did really enjoy it back then. Played a little with a buddy a couple of years ago but I felt that it hadn't aged with dignity and it didn't help that there were issues with Windows compability. I did like the first game better then the sequel myself but I know many prefer the sequel.

    I certainly would enjoy a NWN 3. :)

    I was just about to fire up NWN2 but think I might try the original again.  One of the few games I finished. . then I played a TON online.  I loved and also finished BG but couldn't get into BG2 even though it is often referred to as being better.

    I'll have to pick one to try now. . almost went to Pillars of Eternity as well.

    Have to get the diamond edition from GOG.com.  Its working well and even shows fullscreen.  I had one place where I was crashing but I used the recall stone and avoided that problem.
