Neocron Evolution, a reworked version of Neocron, will officially launch on Saturday, November 12th. According to a post on the official Neocron Evolution site, much of the game has been gutted, reworked, overhauled and dusted off to bring a whole new gaming experience to players.

    I heard about this game a long while ago and tried to play it but couldnt figure out a reliable way to download it. I forget why I was having such problems. What is the current state of the game?

    I'm gonna give this one a try over the Thanksgiving break.  I remember playing this one a decade ago and having a ton of fun.

    I'M right there with you. I loved the world in this game. Love when old school games make a come back. Many good times back in this game.

    My most beloved MMORPG is making a proper return!!

    I just hope they have an English speaking server. The last time i played was a year ago and it was all German in the chat. It was really hard to get help with anything.

    I played it in the few days past (currently patching to 2.3) and there's definitely english speaking folk on the help chat and generally around. You can see some speaking german here and there, but mostly it stays english in the general chats.

    A loooong past due update but it sure is nice to have so many much needed improvements with much more to come. I've noticed that the server is getting very active again. At about 100 players on average the city hubs and leveling areas are actually rather busy with activity. Lots of regular crafters, implanters, and generally friendly and chill people to help anyone new. Great time to check it out for free if you are into the genre.
