Dark and Light News - According to 2P.com, a Chinese Reddit has revealed that the Dark & Light Steam Early Access program could begin as early as the end of this year. The post indicates that the files have been submitted to Steam and that they are currently under review.

    Every time I read the name I'm taken back to the vaporware title. Is this from the same developers? I don't even remember. Either way I hope this isn't just another Ark.

    If they've already "submitted the files to Steam", then the start of Early Access can't be far away.

    Soooo.... where's the game play videos ?

    Or are they going to sell exclusive EA packs without showing any game play at all ?

    I wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole...

    Really not vaporware as it was playable for two years , I was an Original Settler there and played to the last day .. No its not the same devs the orginals were lost in court battles..

      They say they are staying to the Spirit of D&L if so and they dont muck it up with an invasive cash shop , should be alotta fun , and something many folks have been looking for

    End of the year (next month) and still no gameplay footage....I'm excited! Hopefully people remember that this is Snail games we're talking about...

    I'm excited but I'd love to see the game in action.

    I think, at least from what we've seen so far, that the avatars will be passable but that it's the world and creatures that will really shine.

    nothing I've seen of the avatars seems really "great".

    I enjoyed the former game even thru its flaws if this combat and exploration and mob taming can be something close to the former then I will enjoy it as well

    I'm not excited about snail games making something for early access and the endless excuses of it being an alpha. Its going to be another shit show.

    yea  man , Snail scares me a bit , and im not a fan , of theres , But im rooting for them with D&L and maybe i will become a fan of Snail:)

    I am in, take my money so I can play it for 30  hours and hopefully like it,  then realize none of my friends are going to play and then I quit.
