From released teaser screenshots, it look like AoW2 might have a higher scene graphic definition than Snail Game's own DnL.
Granted that AoW2 will be a smaller game world and only be available 3 to 6 months after DnL early access.
It is worth to note that, on
unofficial channels, it is claimed that any tree in game you can see on screen can be harvested for resources.

Smaller game world never means better game world, but that said far more to gameplay than just world size.
While no avatars are shown, I would infer from landscape that they wouldn't be too cartoonish or else the effect would be too jarring and undermined the whole game.
On the smaller world size, I should clarify that it is in comparison to DnL's alleged size, AoW2's playable area is the scale of be several hundred if not several thousands of square kilometers when fully completed.
Perhaps not everyone feel the same way, but I do find that the notion of a visually realistic large open world MMORPG where the developers claimed that when it rains, you can collect water in container for drinking and players need to discern edible mushrooms from poisonous ones by sight exhilarating, caveat being whether they can really implement this.
