Heroes of the Storm News - MMORPG.com has been given codes for the latest addition to the Heroes of the Storm roster, Varian Wrynn. In addition to granting access to the new hero, these codes will also unlock Varian's Lo'gosh skin, so you can ride into battle as Lo'gosh the "Ghost Wolf".

    I've always liked Varian because he's a very well-written character originally, (along with many others) Usually hero-type characters can be a bit boring but the way they made Varian just makes it really interesting.

    I'd love to be able to play him in HotS as well, because he's a unique multi-class character that just seems fun to play; if I feel like playing a tank or dps I can simply just choose what build to use :) I also hope this would be a start of a new thing for HotS; multi-class heroes. Maybe we'll see more of them soon.

    Varian is by far my favourite lore character from WoW. And when he came to the Nexus I was extremely psyched.

    He looks like a really interesting hero for HotS. I would love to play him. It will be fun to try out the hybrid idea.

    Yep, I waited for you others to post first this time. :p I wonder how may of the participants won with only their first (or 3rd by today) post.
    Varian should have walked away from the Kingship. Instead, he took down Onyxia. :)

    @MikeB  Do we get a list of winners after the first two days?  Curious to see who's on the list.

    I love Varian because it is one of the very few heores you can pick while not revealing your team composition right away. since all his 3 heroic abilities are viable he's a good first pick aswell as a good last pick or counter to some nasty heroes (tracers among all).

    Hopefully blizzard will keep delivering these unique characters who are also viable.

    its my second chance to win this hero, i want to get him very much and for now try to answer more in details

    1) Lore of warcraft
    Varian Wrynn, also called Lo'Gosh the "Ghost Wolf", was the son of the late King Llane Wrynn, was the acting leader of the Alliance, and the former King of Stormwind. Under his leadership, the humans of Stormwind led the Alliance to victory against the Lich King in Northrend, and now seek to bolster their strategic holdings against their perennial enemy, "the Horde". With the world plunged into chaos by the great Cataclysm, he took up military leadership of the Alliance, and vowed to forge a new destiny for Azeroth.

    His image for a long time is inscribed in history of warcraft,he is a very interesting character,true warrior
    P.S Shalamayne is really good sword B) 

    2) Hero in Heroes of the storm
    Melee heroes are very difficult to master in Hots, we are have most aggressive melee like kerri,thrall, butch and some tanky heroes like deh, artanis, chen
    varian was 1st hero who can be semitank or aggro melee, its inovation for this game, cuz we have choise our playstyle in current game

    Mostly in heroes of the storm used 1 tank (like mura etc) but for now we can pick varian and have good choise how we can play, its good for ranked games+ he have good stun for tf

    blizzard again invents another interesting mechanic for the champion (like aba viking cho) and i will glad to try it hero league
