Square Enix and Ariana Grande have revealed that she will be immortalized as DW (Dangerous Woman) in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the iOS and Android mobile RPG. DW will feature the same ears that Grande sports on her "Dangerous Woman" album cover. The information was announced via Grande's Instagram account alongside a short video previewing the character.

    If a guy would have captioned that picture "pretty lil thing holds her own in a room of men in suits" the whole SJW safe room/world would have exploded in righteous indignation.

    FWIW I really don't find her that attractive. But I shouldn't denigrate her by seeing her as a object of desire, or so the self-professed "pretty lil thing" would tell me.

    She have 93.1 mil followers. That's pretty much the reason. Even if only 2% buy the game that's a huge sale and quite the profit from that "investment".

    This seems odd but could be incredibly smart. I mean, with mobile gaming, if you get half of her followers to spend a dollar trying to roll for her in this games terrible gatcha rates.....

    Her voice is not so bad. She is popular. She is tiny. I like to watch her videos but I'm sure men enjoy them even more. You can listen to her acapella and judge her vocals for yourself.

    I am sorry, she is an autotune Diva. I have heard better singing live from anyone.

    She is a Disney spin off but cute is all she is.

    Immortalized is a funny word to use for a game that will likely become culturally irrelevant even faster than her.

    AG seems like a pop star that would be really popular in Japan so it doesn't surprise me they chose her, well, other than already having a huge online following.


    As a personality, having seen her via my daughter watching Victorious I see her videos now and it just comes across creepy to me. Voice? Maybe but I wouldn't know as I can't listen. Autotune pop is almost as bad for my ears as country O.o.
