Bioware showed off over two minutes of game play mixed with cinematic shots from Mass Effect Andromeda. The trailer was shown during this weekend's Consumer Electronics Show being held in Las Vegas.

The game looks like modern Halo honestly. I really dont know how i feel about that, i really disliked the last few Halo games.
I can't get past my nagging sense of worry these days when it comes to MEA.

All i see is a bunch of rocks,so yeah the only thing it can show off is the combat.Do we really need a NEW game if only adding a bit of combat?
Bioware reminds me of Blizzard, they make lots of money but none of their games have ever impressed me aside from perhaps Baldur's gate but even those designs got boring after awhile.
I'll tell you what we need is a new Half Life game ..lol.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
I was just saying much the same this morning to a friend of mine: Blizzard, at least the WoW team, has stopped trying as is amply evidenced by Legion's utterly fubar'd PvP, class balance, etc. There goes my faith in one of my constants. The other is Bioware and if MEA fails to live up to my adoration of the series, well, that's the second and leaves me wondering where to turn next.

1: Using a controller I see. VERY disappointing! After the clusterfuck that was and still is Dragon Age Inquisition's shitty K/M support I am not even going to think about buying this until after the game comes out and I hear reviews about K/M playability. If I have to wait about a week before the game releases to see any Official K/M gameplay videos like what happened with DA:I then I will probably write this game off all together. I'm a HUGE MA fan but I will not support any AAA company that treats PC users as second class citizens.
2: FOV is waaaaay too narrow. PC users requite a slider. See last sentence of previous paragraph.
I'm with @SBFord and @Wizardry (whaaa?) on this one. Bioware really needs to hit this one out of the park and not put down a weak bunt.
Bartoni's Law definition: As an Internet discussion grows volatile, the probability of a comparison involving Donald Trump approaches 1.
It is launching on PC as well.
Cross platform support was a factor in both the design of XB1 and PS4. Platforms need titles if they are to sell and the extra cost for developers of having to support 3 platforms was becoming a serious impediment. Microsoft have continued to push the cross-platform approach with Windows 10 of course.
Possibly EA's answer to Halo. I was thinking Destiny myself. Then again that is what I expected after what we saw last year.
