There is also a good chance that Pantheon might also be so much popular than CU and Crowfall, it doesn't sound such an absurd proposition to me.
Yeah? Let's test it. Wait a month for all the hoopla and new accounts created by this poll to settle down and then start a poll in the pub and make it just about Pantheon, CU & Crowfall. I'm curious to see what happens.
If Pantheon wins 3-1 then we'll know you're on to something.
Visionary realms is not likely to notify people to vote on an arbitrary poll, and few Pantheon fans hang around here. Especially considering how hostile it's become towards oldschool games.
Like I've said many times, there's a lot more people waiting on a game like Pantheon than people think.
Maybe Pantheon did so well because of all the old time players( EQ, DAOC, ect veterans) that still come by this site. Yeah I may try CU but I am more interested in an EQ style game like Pantheon.
Since you are comparing the Facebook did you notice the almost 64 thousand likes compared to 15 thousand Pantheon facebook had. Isn't it possible the fan base for Mu is larger based on those likes alone.
No need to question the Pantheon votes. Pretty sure 95% of the userbase would heed the call to wash the dev teams cars and mow their lawns if asked to.

I am actually in charge of breakfast. Made those for Brad and the Team this morning, he insist on fresh strawberries, he would not have it any other way.
Pantheon has some GREAT ideas, but I'm troubled by its developers seeming need to demean and disparage any type of play except group PvE. And likewise, Camelot Unchained's complete rejection of the original AoC' s mixture of Pve and PvP, toward a 100% PvP oriented game disturbs me as well. Is it really so wrong to think that we could have a MMORPG where solo play, PvE, and PvP can all coexist, and each be fun and rewarding? Or do the respective player bases really hate each other so much now that it simply can't happen anymore. (For example, I thought Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies came pretty close to providing a good "mixed-play" experience. So I do think it can be done.)
Anyway, count me in as another old school dinosaur who thinks 'Project Gorgon' (also) looks promising. Even though I'm not a big fan of the Unity Engine.
I couldnt decided between Pantheon or CU as im looking forward to them equally, Since they both favour different demographics... Id rather a separate poll for PVE & PVE Mmo's for 2017.

Pantheon and CU both have a vision of how they want their game developed and what the core audience will be. A game came have solo, pve and pvp all balanced if it's designed from the ground up. If pantheon or CU try to change their game design now or in the future to try and capture everyone they will seriously fuck up the balance of their game.
Ever play EQ when there would be big patches to try and balance class abilities around pvp and they would completely fuck it up for the pve game and vice versa? I'd rather there be 2 games out on the market that cater to either pve or pvp and get it right then have one game flip flop back and forth between what it should focus on.
Well, that puts it bluntly: 2017 is not a year to look forward on new titles within the (proper) MMO genre. 2016 was overall better on anticipation, with titles as Black Desert, Wow's Legion expansion and some others.
Unless i'm missing some big name under development to release this year that could flip the tables on it.
Lets hope now that MU is winning that the site will give it more deserved attention.
PS: People saying it's fake clicks.... really? Lose with pride for fuck sake you are starting to sound like the hillary clinton campaign with their russians are hacking the elections bullshit. Webzen is advertising on their facebook reaching their millions of community members from all Webzen games to vote for them. Even korea/usa/eu wherever their games are known.
I know what game I am looking forward to, and I don't need a poll to validate that. I take the listing and go check them out, some I have heard of, some I haven't. Here's to playing and killing shit
I registered here due to this poll. Whether there was cheating or not it still created quite a bit of exposure by the looks for a few titles that perhaps weren't even talked about that much.
Lets hope the the voting was all legit, even though I voted for Pantheon. :-)

Before slinging too much mud the steady and constant rate at which MU built up last night and then how it suddenly gained 3% right before the poll closed seemed fishy. That's why the staff is looking into it.
My vote is for Bless. I have already played it quite a bit and it is amazing. I love it.
@Kilsin
Not sure why the LOL on Bless Online. Just because it was not your game? Hmmm.
I'm Korean so I tend to favor my country's games. Not sure what is lol about that.
The LOL was for "Many on this list will not even be out in 2017" as the rules clearly stated that early access/testing counted and we will be in at least one form of testing which gives us a valid entry into this poll just like some of the other games here, I don't have anything against Bless, I think Bless looks really nice graphically but the combat and style just isn't for me, plus I am too busy with Pantheon to worry about other games right now
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for Pantheon! Even if we did get pipped at the post by MU in the closing stages it was a great battle between us both and to earn 25% of the votes against some of the other big names here was an achievement in itself, our community is awesome and we thank you all for the ongoing support and loyalty, I personally can't wait to jump in and test with you folks this year, it's going to be huge, so stay tuned for that announcement sometime in the not too distant future!
I'd say Revelation Online, but why didn't many players support it? XD Did the top votes come from the official support from both developers of MU Legend and Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen?
The poll was promoted by the Pantheon team. The community there is awesome. The interaction between the backers and the devs is great. This was a fun poll and made me register here, and now I'm signed up for MMORPG's emails.
I'd never want for any MMO I like to become super popular. I prefer they settle for their niche market and keep a small-sized but royal players, enough to support the game for a long run.
Fighting each over whose MMO is the most popular is kinda the same as to fight over whose husband/wife/life partner is more popular. :pleased: :proud:

Awards and popularity can on the other hand attract investors that for some of these titles can be vital for their ongoing development - but I'm with you on a personal level, I don't care who's the popular one, as long as I'm having fun with it
