Lets hope now that MU is winning that the site will give it more deserved attention.
PS: People saying it's fake clicks.... really? Lose with pride for fuck sake you are starting to sound like the hillary clinton campaign with their russians are hacking the elections bullshit. Webzen is advertising on their facebook reaching their millions of community members from all Webzen games to vote for them. Even korea/usa/eu wherever their games are known.
No it won't get more popular here, it's not that we never heard of it, we just don't care about MU Legend in this forum.
So forgive us if we raise questions about this game winning against another game that historically has more support here as showed by the difference in threads count in their respective forums.
So you would not raise any questions after comparing the grand total of 2 threads in MU Legend Forum to the hundreds of Pantheon?
In the end what you describe could be what it really happened, but I don't think you can't blame us for being a bit suspicious about it.
If the staff of MMORPG.com confirm there was no foul play, I'll be the first one to congratulate with MU, though I can assure you, it's never going to be any more popular in this site, as it is not the same demographics that follows that kind of game.
Update on the scrubbing... @Meddle is still working on the data. Basically we're going to disqualify votes from duplicate IPs and those that voted behind a proxy server. The queries to do this are taking a long time, so it may be late Wednesday before we have results.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for Pantheon! Even if we did get pipped at the post by MU in the closing stages it was a great battle between us both and to earn 25% of the votes against some of the other big names here was an achievement in itself, our community is awesome and we thank you all for the ongoing support and loyalty, I personally can't wait to jump in and test with you folks this year, it's going to be huge, so stay tuned for that announcement sometime in the not too distant future!
I want to say for me personal , I have always felt like the VR team has always heard and listened to all its Viewers and followers (whether you agreed or not ) I know without a shadow of a doubt you read and heard others point of view . I want to to personally thank all those on the VR team for making a game without bowing to the masses even if the voice might be mine .. Looking forward to testing /playing/enjoying IM IN YOUR WORLD NOW not mine or the masses / sounds like a awesome experience Besides it was the turtle that won in the end ..
Lets hope now that MU is winning that the site will give it more deserved attention.

Absolutely no problem with losing in fact was great race regardless of who won or who did not not :P as for fake clicks or the presidential race . in fact I would say speaking on the presidential race Hillary Clinton Was graceful with her lose . which by the way shows true leadership best of luck to you and yours for the next 4 years .

How is it possible to vote from duplicate IPs ? I thought this was impossible .

If I'm in a house with others that also have registered here and we all login and vote it would be the same IP address.

Likely they won't be concerned if one IP has two votes, as you say, could be more than one MMORPG.com follower in the household. They could also look at account history in this scenario and keep the votes of those who show previous activity.
But if one IP shows a large number of votes, all from newly created accounts likely they'll be tossed.

Before slinging too much mud the steady and constant rate at which MU built up last night and then how it suddenly gained 3% right before the poll closed seemed fishy. That's why the staff is looking into it.
Unfortunately manipulating poll results and election fraud are very real problems and allegations of impropriety have to be taken seriously and investigated.
Unusual patterns were observed for both of the two leaders hence the concern.

Yea, I hear ya. If they do look at activity and see nothing before hand and decide to nullify that vote then mine is going to be removed in that scenario.
I guess there's no easy fix. But as you say, if they see large numbers of votes from the same IP address in a very short time frame then that would probably ring the warning bells.
In any case it's something that we can leave in Bills hands to sort out and trust they will do the right thing. And if it turns out to be all legit than congrats to MU!
My vote is for Bless. I have already played it quite a bit and it is amazing. I love it.
@Kilsin
Not sure why the LOL on Bless Online. Just because it was not your game? Hmmm.
I'm Korean so I tend to favor my country's games. Not sure what is lol about that.
The LOL was for "Many on this list will not even be out in 2017" as the rules clearly stated that early access/testing counted and we will be in at least one form of testing which gives us a valid entry into this poll just like some of the other games here, I don't have anything against Bless, I think Bless looks really nice graphically but the combat and style just isn't for me, plus I am too busy with Pantheon to worry about other games right now
Ignoring your competition now? hhhmmm Famous last words in business. Anyhow it was meant as a joke as I previously stated. Not meant to argue with anyone Ben
Haha, not at all, I check out most games when I get the chance, it is just really busy for us at the moment and that is a good thing!
I know man, I was playing along but I have to post more generally or else my words get taken out of context, such is the nature of the job

You can expect Shroud of the Avatar to do well... because the Devs post on their own forums encouraging people to push the polls every time a new one comes out. The thread for THIS poll is here;
There is one way this poll will be useful though! The community tends to be spectacularly toxic when ever anyone mentions that Shrouds player numbers are awful, as the Steam peak is already below 200... and they insist no one can know what the real playerbase is. Well, the LAST poll they pushed, over at
... got 1,580 votes. Although on the thread for that one, people did admit they were proxy posting to raise even those numbers, admittedly. But let's see if this deep, decent, honest community can beat 1,580 votes this time!
But of course, they'll have a million players when they've pushed enough polls and done enough advertising to make you THINK it's a great game. Absolutely. I'll regret this cynicism in 10 years, absolutely I will!
Shroud community is the most hateful Ive seen and there devs engage in petty bickering with folks that give them bad reviews. You can be sure they'll be making up accts here like crazy to try and boost the poll in their favor to lure more people into they're failing game to try and squeeze $40 out of them. That's how they do on polls because they haven't had anyone buying it since August 2016. Don't fall for it peeps save your money and spend it on anything else.
And have you ever truly played this game in development? So hateful. *sighs* I've been there since 2013 and while I check out other games, I am a strong supporter of the possibilities of Shroud of the Avatar. I believe it will be a game to go down in history as UO was. True on any website there are haters and lovers. Haters being those who have no patience or business to even be involved during development, but perhaps one day they will be those that will be back in a heartbeat when they find out they were so very wrong. I would not do that to a game. I give them all a chance. I wish them all well. We need great games out there for us gamers. Man I bet we do to terrible things to development team's morale, omg. If I were any of them I would love to shut us down once they got answers, but true we are still the voices in many cases that give great ideas and constructive feedback, but there are many who just want to cry fowl, be rude, obnoxious, and right, and not give chances. I will be there cheering this game and the fantanstic development team on the whole time, and if I can help anyone anytime to provide answers or to just say hello, please let me know.

I REALLY wanted to like SotA and don't mind that I dumped over a hundred bucks to see it get made, but both times I tried to get into it - it failed to engage me. I hope to give it another shot at some point.
The votes have been scrubbed and we'll be posting the results soon. There was a wide margin of fake votes applied towards a specific game and applying multiple layers of logic to disqualify the invalid votes took a good amount of effort and time.

We'll be updating with the final numbers shortly! Thanks Meddle !
Ok, folks. See the attached screen cap for the new results, post-scrubbing. As you can see, by a wide margin our official winner is Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. Congrats to the Visionary Realms team on their win.
As you might have guessed, the largest amount of false votes came from MU Legends. We are contacting Webzen immediately for a statement. For all we know, overzealous fans could be the culprit, or a sole actor within the community. We'll report back what we find out.
A new poll for the best MMO Expansion or Update of the year will be launched tomorrow or Friday. Stay tuned!
Yes !!!!! Thank you meddle ! Thanks to each and every community member and friends of VR , members of mmorpg who took the time to vote for PRoTF. You guys Rock !
Big props to MMORPG.com, Bill, Meddle, and everyone else for calling this down the middle.
Respect.
Also want to take this time to say there is so many good looking games on this list, and above all else despite poll results you should be proud and share excitement for the game your most looking forward to regardless of who wins.
It was great seeing the Camelot Unchained community members in here rooting their game on, and lesser known games like Revelation getting some love as well.

Could still be legit, we will soon see.
