    No we are heavily intergrated with the Steam server system. It is highly unlikely we will decouple that on PC. You can try Xbox version though!

    Hello Joel. I have played both ARK and Age of Conan, so Conan Exile's immediately sparked my interest. I have three questions for you:

    1. Melee combat is one of Conan Exile's main selling points. How will it differ from ARK and other survival games?

    2. Do you guys plan on having servers in Brazil?

    3. Will there be ways for players to effectively protect themselves and their belongings while they are offline? One of the worst feelings when playing ARK is logging in only to find out you lost most if not all of your stuff.

    The building blocker is a sphere, so the answer to the first question is yes, if they are dumb enough to build somewhere that allows it.

    Multiple beds is not an option, you will need to travel around the map and not teleport (might change if pushback is strong)

    Love your work - big fan! 
     I haven't gone through the questions so my apologies if I'm posting a duplicate.

    Survival can depend on many elements. Food, water, environment, other players, etc. Now many survival titles make players too much effort in the food/water part. Be that might be true in real life but tend become a boring grind after a while in a game. What would be the priorities here in Hyboria?

    First off, thank you for doing this Joel! Ok so my question. What driving factor or what incentive will there be for players to complete "dungeon" or cave content to fight bosses? Some other dino survival games out there currently cough cough ARK cough have dungeons so to speak with bosses but currently there really is no real incentive for players to complete that content. So what will be the incentive for players in Conan Exiles to complete boss fights? Will there be special boss loot, like gear or mats that are dropped or cosmetics perhaps?

    Thank you again for your taking time to do this, I think everyone is really excited and can't wait for Conan Exiles! 
    - To find unique recipes and items. Boss mats, trophies etc.

    two part question: How many thralls do you have to assign as guards in order to protect your stronghold while offline? can 5 defend against 5 attackers? 

    2nd part: Since the map is static, thralls spawn in certain locations. What is the timer on the spawns? with 70 people on a server wouldnt it be very difficult to a mass thralls?

    1- That will depend on the force attacking. I highly doubt one NPC will be a match for one player, but I think clever placement of archers/melee/healers can be setup for effective combinations.

    btw Thralls have tiers so legendary thralls will be more than a match for some players.

    2 - We have the concept of capitals - these are locations that cannot be depopulated by players and thralls will always be available. Finding legendary thralls will take time though, but hey, that's what makes raiding NPC camps a thing in this game.

    Hey Joel love what you guys are doing to this game but just got a few questions if you can answer this for me and my 20 plus members clan coming to Conan Exiles.

    Questions:
    1. When building in caves is there a 2x damage to structures?
    2. What kind of magic is in the game?
    3. Can you enslave other peoples thrawls that they have already broken?
    4. Can Thrawls gather resources?
    5. Can you cage and bind/handcuff other players trying to attack or raid your base?

    What sort of body slider options can we expect to see under the physique tab during character creation? will it be possible for us bigger/chubby gals and guys to recreate ourselves as barbarians and amazons within Conan Exiles?

    No, we will be adding more physique options after EA launch, but we do not have extreme body types. This was an aesthetic call to make sure our armors work well with most players.

    3) Yes but not similar to Age of Conan. We're going in a different direction with sorcery in this game.

    I was going to just edit my previous post but i cant find it now haha.
    I have a question about the purge system. I love how 7 days to die keeps you on your toes with horde night. Will the purge be somewhat like this where you have to defend your base from npc armies?

    2. Will big clans absolutely dominate servers like all survival games out there or do you think if people are skilled enough they can take on a bigger group?

    3. What do you think the first few updates will be about? Mounts maybe?

    Another Questions: In the last video you showed off the fire pots and deconstruction of different tiers of buildings: How easy are fire pots to make? are they as hard as say Tier 3 building materials? As a solo player I will probably never get above Tier 2 buildings and looks like the fire pot would wreck my building in one hit.

    Also, how many hits from Iron for T1 to destroy, and Steel for T2 to destroy?

    T3 building pieces are easier to make than explosives.

    If we purchase the game on steam, then later for an Xbox One,
    1) are we able to access our same account / character
    2) will PC and Xbone players share the same servers

    Well I should probably has condensed these to one post...Sorry.

    On a PvP server how does looting of other players work? Is it full loot? If I die to an NPC will my body be lootable by other players? How long will my body remain before I can go back and get my stuff?
    Server settings allow you to choose as follows:
    Full loot
    Drop backpack items
    Drop hotbar items
    No loot

    So you have options per server.

    What are the clan cap size like how big can you clan be? Member/number count wise? this worries me because I have a clan of 20 members.

    Funcom has the MMO rights to Conan. I am curious, will you guys ever be creating Age of Conan 2 in the future or something very similar? Or is Funcom finally finished with the MMO genre?
