I am fairly new to this games and would like someone to play with. I prefer someone who does not know a lot so we can learn/fail together as we go. I tried posting on the games forums but no response so I am hoping here will be better
Medieval Engineers is messy, it's a colossus of a game to run as the devs traded performance for shiny physics and simulation (and constantly struggle on the optimization front), there's not much gameplay loop on it attm.
i also bought space engineers a while ago. it's pretty complicated and i never did all the tutorials. i must have gotten lazy lately as i got bored from reading all the tutorials or i just wanted to learn by playing, not by reading.
i ended up playing empyrion instead. had ton's of fun with a friend there but again, it's an early access game and not finished.
after playing empyrion i decided to wait for one game similar to space engineers to release as a real, finished game. i don't want to get burned out of this upcoming genre before it even arrived.
looking forward for dual universe, helion (or something like that?), and who knows.. star citizens.. ?
Oh yeah it'd recommend Empyrion Galatic Survival for now, for a more RPG MP vibe that is more meant for casual fun. It's the one that's already around providing that, the rest is still in-development or on early releases.
it's a lot of fun but NOT ready for release just yet! a lot of bugging around and many things are still missing. you will get to a point where you feel to be ready to conquer and explore, where nothing is to conquer or explore... yet. still had an absolute blast and got my money worth for that!

I literally already said I posted on that forum so idk why you said to go there.
