Pokemon Go News - Pokemon Go team has put out a new blog post complete with special video to tell about a huge update coming to the game this week. More than 80 new Pokemon will make an appearance, among them Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile. Niantic is also adding new features to the game.

    Until they add tracking back in or allow websites to show us where the good pokemon are, it can stay on my phones folder of forgotten games I never play.

    I originally installed this game on day one thinking I'd be able to battle my children who are across the country. Alas, I've not heard of that feature yet. Battling a gym master who is 20 levels higher than me is no fun.

    I agree that there needs to be an option to battle other players just like in the show. Where we live most of the gyms are maxed out and filled with Pokemon with maxed you CP that you can't beat unless you're really lucky.

    While this game has never been for me, I have heard many others relaying the same sentiment. It killed the game for them and less fun to be had when there was no longer a reason to go out and go for walks.
    Happily playing Vanilla and BC WoW, again, since September 2016.

    What's killed it for me more than anything is progression. I'm level 24 at the moment and, conservatively, it'll take me a couple months, probably, to reach 25, and the amount of xp required increased by like 2 times each level thereafter.

    They've added a system where you can see pokemons that are near the pokestops closest to you, so you can indeed hunt those rare pokemons with much more precision now. Most spawns last for 5-15 minutes so showing a pokemon 30 miles from you would not make any sense anyway.

    Another prime example of great promises, setbacks, unwillingness to cooperate for a temporary solution and looking at the great moneyznumbers without a care.
    I had fun for the first few weeks or so, but for me they fucked up royaly. Never going back.
