in Final Fantasy XI

I've read that you need to have a VISA or a MasterCard to register an account and now I wonder how that works:

After the 30 days of free playing will I then get a message that says that I have to register with a card and pay them an amount of money and use the same account or do I have to register another account for that?

Is it only Visa and MasterCard that works when you shall register? If it works with other then which are you certain that will work.

These 30 days, are they counted as I use 30 days of playing or will that countdown start when I fix my account and then just continue to descend?

If I play for an amount of time and then want to take a break do I have to pay for my account to still be there or will it be deleted if I want to take a break and not pay through that break (same with if I don't pay for the next month etc)

I would be thankful for answers

    When you activate the FFXI account, you only have 30 days before you have to start playing. The timer ticks away even if you're offline(like most MMORPGs), so if you register it right now, the free time will end about this time next month, even if you don't ever play between that time.

    I don't know what other credit cards you can use, if you can even do so.

    I think your account will be deleted from the servers if you don't pay for the account for about a month, but I'm not entirely sure about that. So if your free month ends in January and you don't pay for it and February comes around, it'll be deleted and you will have to buy another copy of FFXI and register that to play again.

    umm, so if I stop playing I can't just reactivate my old account or create another one with the same "code"?

    Of what you wrote it tells me that if I stop playing I can't ever play again until I get another copy of FFXI but that would be outrageous.

    They can't just ban a cdkey/code just cause someone quits right

    Ok I just read about that if you don't pay for 3 months then the code will not work, which sucks IMO

    Ok then, how will it work if I want to stop play for a month then and then come back?

    Do I have to send in a mail or anything to someone so they can stop the payment for example a month

    There is an option to reactivate you're account,and deactivate it. As long as you do it before you're 3 months have gone,you should be fine.

    Im guessing they think you can get access to a computer to activate it during 3 months of cancelling you're subscription. But if you can't,then you are a little screwed =[.
