Revelation Online News - My.com has officially launched the Revelation Online open beta complete with a brand new trailer. The open beta did not feature a wipe after head start Founder's Pack owners. Technically, this makes Revelation Online a launched product.

    Must say I enjoy the game so far. That huge open world and old school feeling. I can even stomach 100% eastern style for this.

    Once you get to level 20 then the game will really start to open.

    My only complaint is the Gold Spam. :(

    Im level 12 now with my swordmage and the game is not bad so far, but the animations could be better, they are really bad imo.

    Do yourself a favor and try not to follow the story as you play. It's so disjointed. It's a nice game to just sit back and enjoy, don't push yourself into the grind right away.

    Story is crazy, but its good way to lvl ( so i hear )

    Were some of the issues from the closed beta fixed? like the unstableness, the horrid cutscenes, etc?

    From the people I have met, I'd say that folks who play P2W games tend to kind of stick to that genre. Lol.

    I have no problem with people enjoying a game, but wasting time playing such a backward game when there are literally tons of much better games out there is puzzling.

    the first 2 hours you will be pressing F and spacebar all the time.

    i am currently level 20.. and getting anoying by it

    The game had potential, but it has 2 dungeons per day limit, 1 raid per week (junk 10minute raid lol). And you can only kill 160 monsters a day before they give no exp or drops. Also has labor system like archeage, no premium = no gathering or crafting.

    Poor translations throws the wrong names in places, quite a few cut scenes don't even portray any information, and in one case the guy's speech got blocked by a tree in the camera. Story is good exp and you should definitely do it, but don't waste your time trying to get invested in it.

    Definitely my new home.

    This game has everything i was looking for. Long time since i have so much fun in a MMORPG, it reminds me of great old times in Line Age 2.

    Game is a bit confusing at first, because of the huge amount of features, but when you understand the basic, you will progress and step by step understand it all.

    I'm playing since head start, lvl 49 finishing my gold gear, having a lot of fun with my new hardcore guild SSGT.

    Most games that people cry are P2W aren't. The truth is some of us just enjoy Asian games because they have certain design ideas that we all enjoy. I haven't played this one enough to form an opinion, but just in general people have preferences. There's no need to attack them for it and say all the games they like are P2W.

    I enjoyed the game but the gated leveling/dungeons suck and the fact once u get 40+ i dont mind grinding levels but they just gate you everywhere..... i like to level or grind as much as i want not a game that tells me what i am allowed to do in one day.

    Not too sure about auto pathing with this questing being so... hard to follow. Has left me feeling completely not immersed, and with no understanding the games items/systems.


    I like the play of the game, but it isn't drawing me in at all right now.

    I like the idea of limited play, for an addict like me it's perfect, but... God... The start of the game is horrible, I'm still not past it, first 20 levels are really bulshit.

    Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

    I do not think the unstableness is fixed yet. I actually stopped playing with my PC repeatedly crashing to a complete restart.

    It is just beta and they have gold spammers...must be getting a headstart on gold spamming.
