Is there a MMO out there like this?

Hi .  So im looking for a new Good mmo to play.

And what i want the mmo to have is this:

1. Good story.
2. Where EPIC is EPIC, meaning like vanilla wow where not alot of people had epics, most had blue/green.
3. Good 5mans atleast. Raids would be nice, but not a must.


Is there a good game out there that have this things? wow atm, is just casual town, where EVERYONE have legendarys now :S

    Maybe try Secret World.

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    Only game that i think meets those requirements is FFXIV:ARR, if you can get a free trial of it then you might want to give it a go see if it fits. :o

    Lotro, Ffxiv and EQ progression server.

    TSW and LotRO, both have great story, world, and dungeons (I assume that's what you ment by "5mans"... LotRO has 6-man dungeons :wink: ). If the story is on the top of your list, those two comes to mind right away, and they have very nice dungeons and raids as well.

    The part about epic is epic (in capitals) eluded me... sure, technically it's there (for example in TSW for the bestestest gear you have to do NM raids, so very few players have them yet - NM raids were added only a few updates ago), but I have to admit I couldn't list any MMOs out there where "epic gear" is actually needed for anything besides epeen reasons...

    So yeah, if you want to go the extra (several) miles for having the absolute best, by a mere fraction of a %, you can. And you can be sure only a couple other players will have those gear pieces...
    ...because the majority won't even care, since the more conveniently accessible, not-so-epic gear is just as fine for everything :lol:

    1. Good story - Only ESO, SWTOR and TSW qualify, others have shamefully bad writing.

    2. Rare Epics - Hm, can't think of any MMO.

    3. Good dungeons/raids - ESO for Dungeons, FFXIV/Wildstar for Raids.
