I can't wait to play. If only they did the same limited time promotion Warframe did where they allowed account transfer from PC to console once per person at launch. Still can't wait to play the game on PS4.

I knew this day would come and i smelled they wouldn't transfer accounts so i stopped spending money on the PC version a long time ago.

I'll be buying my heroes and inventory space on PS4 instead. I rather wait a little longer to support them again than waste my money on the steam version if they wont let me transfer my progress to PSN.

I would have to say that this would be an excellent console game, but I've kind of always like Arpg styles on console more so than pc

Between this and POE coming to x1 it's a good time for console ARPGs

It'll have couch co-op?! Wow, very cool news. I'm almost on board. Now they need to fix the miserable inventory system that plagues the PC version. They do that and I'll a ton of money at then come launch.

I'll try the PS4 version on "free mode" just for a taste but I already spent $$ on the entire roster on PC side so no long term console commitment from this guy.

Yeah, I bought an ultimate package when the PC game released, and I've bought other stuff since. If I can't transfer that, I will pass on the consoles.

The world is going to the dogs, which is just how I planned it!

Any idea how much the founders pack will be for ps4? And can anyone get into the BETA is it is limited?
  • WolfClawsWolfClaws Member UncommonPosts: 638
I would totally be on board with an account transfer from PC to PS4.

This pretty much effectively kills the game on PC. There's no way to transfer your account, and all the stuff you spent money on, to PS4. Gazillion is willing to sacrifice the PC players they have for the console players they don't have and want PC players who've already invested money to spend even more to unlock everything all over again. Where have I heard this before? A game developer ready to abandon current customers for potential new customers? Hmm. Oh yeah, Star Wars Galaxies. How did that turn out? I have almost 500 hrs played but I won't be adding to that total again. Done.

Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.

On what planet is this a MMORPG? Its a massive online combat game with 30 spidermans (or hulks, or Dr Stranges, or ...) on the screen at one time. It may have a few scripted elements but thats it. If it doesnt resemble DC Universe MMORPG (meaning custom heroes with definable backgrounds) then its only a MMO at best and really just a joke.

Yea, their wording with the PC was "Don't worry, we'll still give the PC years of support" kinda implies the PC's going to... well, stop being supported after a couple of years.  Already it's looking pretty bad given that there are no new content updates to the PC despite how the "Biggest Update Ever" isn't even finished yet (no omega items, none of those promised epic battles that things like the movement change nerf was done in order to facilitate, etc)

they've been super tight lipped about the whole thing. I have zero faith in them at this point.

You're lucky you're only in the hundreds, I have multiple thousands and was disappointed to see them throwing away their loyal pc players with this endeavor. If you've kept up with the development since beta like I have it's obvious they don't have the staff capable of pulling off two different platform updates considering it takes them forever to do just a single one for pc. This behavior makes me think the "all in" push for consoles was/is an act of desperation rather than greed because lets face it how much money are they really making vs the staff they need to pay each month. One bad decision after another has pushed away so many players that it's jaw dropping and it seems they should hire a few business advisors rather than any more entry level developers.

I still play off and on on the PC, and have spent a bit of money on their cash shop to support the game. I think it's very fun in small doses. My biggest gripe with the game is that patches are honkin' huge (often 3-4G), and it takes my slow ISP a long time to download them.

It would be nice if PC accounts would transfer over, or at the least, if the world allows cross-platform play.

That being said, I've found lately that most PS4 game transfers from PC, I've actually enjoyed more on the PS4 than the PC. So I'm looking forward to this one.

Not really surprised to read this. More and more games want that console money. Plus they know a lot of pc players with consoles will now support the game with multiple accounts.

I agree their inventory system needs work but I see it in a lot of games now. Lots of good stuff with little space, creating a mini-game that can take a long time to sort out, which is why I limit my time in such games just because I don't feel like dealing with the inventory management.

They really simplified the combat, which hurt heroes that used to use two bar rotations. The Omega change was extremely simplified as well, going from tons of procs, down to nothing but stats. I can say for certain that this game is practically dead to me.

This is what I have been saying all along, Gaz has stabbed the PC community in the back. I see they want to play game of thrones now. They barely come out with content for the PC version, how will they make content for both? The answer is they cant. I uninstalled and jumped ship and am now looking to play something else to pass the time. If you all know what is good for you, you will do the same.

Why can't you just continue to play on the PC why do you have to move to the console. I don't get it. Can't you just use the controller on the PC version.

Look at ESO you cannot even play together the different versions. Well FFXI and FFXIV managed to allow the different platforms to play together but I do not understand why they should allow you to transfer your PC characters to the console. It is a different platform after all.

To think that the console version would make me quit this game for good. I feel insulted that the PC version havent really gotten new stuff to do. Fine system have been overhauled. But you still do the same thing over and over again. And then the console version looks better then the PC version. Also you have to buy your heroes all over again on the console which is rubbish and a big slap in the face. Well I am done with this game.
