Asian style art in game characters play too much on sex appeal for my taste.
Yeah. I play mmorpg's to get away from sex stuff. I want to get lost in a fantasy world, not lust after freaking pixels. Plus, the Asian style art makes the males to feminine.

Yeah, but it the silly clothes particularly there (and that all females must wear them while guys usually can choose between skimpy and somewhat normal clothes), besides that the art is generally not bad.

No I am just comparing the three. I thought AA and BDO were pretty big? Players got tired of them that fast? I haven't been keeping up to date with mmorpgs. I switch back and forth from WoW to ESO. I don't worry about the latest piece of crap thats going to flop and steal your money. There is one that is catching my eye, its called Ashes of Creation. I hope its not Asiany. I won't buy it.

Ashes won't be much of anything until about 2020 if you are lucky.

My guess is Elder scrolls, followed by BDO and then AA.
But there's really no way to know for sure.
O there is a way to know for sure, BDO and AA have forced, gear based, Random Gear that is Cash based with AA being the worst of the 2, that always equals low population compared to a mmo with no cash shop based random gear, forced pvp, ect like ESO.
Most of my friends when I started playing mmo's were playing wow. All of them including myself have now moved on. Mostly playing eso or gw2 now. I think wow is slowly dying, finally.
Wait? You are asking and you voted.... Are you asking or are your trying to say which one has. What is the point of this post really?
I voted because I wanted to see the results.
I didn't vote and can see the results.

If there was a non sexulized asian styled game aimed at western audiences I'd probably play it. Throw in a few cliches and over the top asian accents too for comedic values but at the same time have a decent story to go behind it.
ESO was a big success on consoles. Apparently, each platform (PC/Xbox/PS4) has roughly a third of the player base. If that is true, the numbers have to be pretty decent combined.
My wild guess is that BDO will struggle in retaining any sort of mainstream audience in the west. The end-game is very grindy, to the point where it almost exclusively appeals to the hardcore gamer with a lot of time. ESO is a lot more mainstream (casual) in that sense.
I'd venture a guess that Archeage isn't even close to the other 2 choices.
Sounds about right. I also suspect ESO beats both of the others hands down. Of course as others pointed out, being released on consoles as well as PC gives it an additional edge too. It'll be interesting to see how BDO does with their own console release when it comes (since they are working on it).
As for the other question... it very much depends on the game in question. I can appreciate both aesthetics. That being said, if it comes to graphics... both BDO and AA leave ESO in the dust. So things are reversed there lol.

I know WoW does. Asking about the 3 games in the polls.
I haven't played Archeage or BDO. But I remember when they first came out, they had a lot of hype and people were flocking to play them.

No clue between the other 2 but both Wow and Lineage have more then either of them if you count active players.

I have no information about the other two games. I've not followed either.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

Eso def got the largest pop with pc/ps4/xbone combined!

Actually Wow has the largest subscriber player base. MINECRAFT has the largest player base by far

Worldwide I still would say ESO, last year it was fully localized in Japanese. And I believe NA/EU eso (pc/ps4/xbone) got more than bdo worldwide.
