Guess I will put in my 2 cents in this 7 years old thread =-) El Dorado 15 year old rum, neat. Or any Glenfiddich single malt thats 12 years + but I dont drink to get drunk.

Oh I do that too :)
And DEFINITELY not to get drunk, those drinks are something to be respected.

Smoking weed makes games more immersive, I dont drink.

It sure makes the tens of hours you spend grinding mobs fly by :).

Actually, that explains a lot if the game designers do it as well.

    I usually have a few Brandy(E & J VSOP) Old-fashioned's or a few beers while playing

Nah, they are acceptable but their neighbors Caol Ila makes an 18 year for about same price (here at least) that are miles better. Lagavulin is not bad but it is overrated, people often compare it's 16 year with others 10 years and that of course makes it win the taste test.

But if you really want a treat, try Nikka or Port Ellen (last is my favorite, by far the best Islay in my opinion).

The Caola Ila and the Nikka looks interesting. The Port Ellen looks a little too pricey for my blood, that is unless I get my local Trumpf rep to sate my curiosity ;)

None, i rarely drink and never at home.

I find those who drink and game to be annoying

Saturday night my character went down unexpectedly on a routine pull.  The laughing response the healers husband gave was "sorry, we're in the middle of our 2nd bottle of wine."

Scowl. More aggrevating than the deaths when she's tabbed over to Facebook between pulls. ;)

I drink partially to be annoying to others without feeling bad. It makes people like me happy to know you're inconvenienced by it.

1 bottle of wine... or 4-6 beers typically.

I have cut back though and plan on drinking only a couple times a month going forth. Cannot afford it and the beer made me gain weight some.

I didn't drink alcohol when this thread was started and I still don't drink alcohol.

I drink coffee, tea, or water when playing.

I don't. Period. I rarely ever drink and I never overdo it. Why would you do that anyway?

When I was playing wow before raiding got big I was drinking 4 or 5 shots of whiskey a night while playing to fuel me up when battling to keep the alliance out of Tarren Mill.

I drank a few beers when learning Molten Core, asking other peeps for the timiig on dog and flame respawns. Continuing on with my life the next day.

What I'm asking is that when you're playing your chosen MMO how much booze do you drink nightly when dealing with the social aspect of your game.

For me, 4, 5 and 6 beer sessions are not uncommon, nightly.  How about you?

Your sharing with us that your a alcoholic mmo player, yeah you should keep stuff like that to your self. No wonder developers put in gambling shops.

I think it's sad to see what a stranglehold alcohol has on our culture......Just last week lost another friend that was a lifelong alcoholic and died of alcohol poisoning.

A couple of beers on average on weekdays I would say when gaming.

On weekends a bit more :)

I squeeze in 1-2 white days a week tho.

A few years ago my guilds wouldn't let me raid with them unless I was audibly drunk. But I've more recently quit drinking. (Last year around February.)

Alcohol apparently increased my healing skill by +5000.

    I only drank bourbon.

I only drink socially - I don't really drink while gaming.

If I'm heading out on the weekend I might have a drink and play a match or two while killing time. I don't grab a drink and go play though.
