I already preordered it for the PS4 and will buy it again on the PC once released to play with my PC friends. Love the first one.
please do us the favor and do not pre-order games.
glad your excited but please in the future hold off
omg! Sean you are starting to get crotchety.
@blueturtle13 please pre-order as many games as you would like as long as you believe they are a worthwhile use of your money.
And if you don't then that's fine as well as it's "your money".
@SEANMCAD Sean, we are not part of a club, we don't owe each other anything nor are we a faction "us against the developers". Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and they get excited about things that others might not. While I'm sure you know this, your suggestion to Blue seems a bit self centered, as if you have an agenda and want others to fall in place.
I'm so going to find something to pre-order ...
It's also interesting that you are ok with people playing early access games and I wonder what you would say to people who told you to "please try to hold off playing early access games".
let me see if I get this straight and right
BAD: Early access developer because they 'never' finish the game (no evidence of 'never' required
GOOD: Pre-ordering games because its always better to spend money and get ZERO to download seconds after
yeah I think the bad part of the industry is pre-ordering games. At least in early access you get what you pay for, not get scammed into a hyper hype like No Mans Sky
I'm not saying one's bad over the other. I am going to say that there are factions of people who think one is bad/good over the other.
So no you didn't get it straight. I do wonder what you would think if someone said "SEan, please don't play early access games, I know you are excited, but in the future hold off".
Actually I don't wonder what you would say ...
Though if one pre-orders a game and gets something extra then I can see the incentive. If they pre-order but they don't get anything extra, then no incentive other than they are getting it out of the way.
In any case, "done" pre-ordered Middle Earth Shadow of War. No real incentive other than I got it out of they way.
Ok let's see, done - pre-ordered Middle EArth Shadow of War; to do, gym, laundry, oh dear the list never ends.
well I am going to say its bad
If anything is 'bad' for the industry which mind you I think most things are not but if I was to make a list a very short list 'pre-order' would be on the list.
See here is what happens (which incidently is NOT a problem in early access) The hyper hype machine starts. what many of you dont know is that the hype machine is paid for, it does not happen 'organically' its deliberate and planned and involves multiple venues to get you hyped so that you will buy something that you can proove is not worth the hype they sell you.
hype, and pre-orders are far worse for this industry then Early Access is
also I might add a stradgey that is used in politics, advertising and PR is to accuse the other side of doing EXACTLY what you are doing because it deflects attention. So these hype machines that try to deflect attention away from them and to early access should be inspected more closely....just sayin Sun Tzu Art of War
I am convinced SEANMCD is the crazy old guy at the end of my street.
you would be well served to read Sun Tzu Art of War.

Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.
can t wait to play what ?? a bad console port and they already said it will have no dedicated servers ... why on earth should you play a game on pc with no dedicated servers.
no dedicated server in 2k17 lulz ...
The console Destiny 1 didn't have them either, and it was just fine. I don't think it's going to be that big of an issue. It's using P2P as it did before.
well i m sorry to say but it looks like you don t know what p2p servers mean for pc games and even on console i heard a lot of good players shit talking about the p2p system.
how dare they to release a "competitive pvp" mode with a game that has no dedicated servers, its by far the worst decision made.
ofc people will buy it but it will never be any successful as other pc fps shooter.
trust my its gonna be a really big issue, they will not be prepared for all the script kids.

Why would they need a "dedicated" server? Consoles are PCs; the first PCs were consoles. Both send information via the net to a server i.e. a big computer - that does backend stuff. Maybe they will partition it - some sort of megaserver - maybe they won't.
You people defending P2P new to PC gaming or something? It's inferior to dedicated servers for many reasons the major being of course... latency. Should be pretty damn obvious? Even a staff member seems clueless.
And if you actually played Warframe you would know the lack of dedicated servers has been a main complaint for years...
I expect less ignorance from a place called "mmorpg.com".
Don't have a console, and won't buy one. So I will wait till it comes out on Battle.net even if there is a delay.
At one time I had the same feeling about console but like rojoArcuied the pc hardware costs seems to make pc gaming alot more $$$ than console. I do hate playing shooter games on the console though because of using a controller and not m&k.
I actually see that differently. You can get a full decent gaming setup for PC gaming at around 400 bucks. Will you play it in 2k or 4k no, will you play at 200 or even 90 fps no, but you will get at least 30-60fps and can adjust settings to accommodate. The Console if you start from scratch you need
1. The console 250-400$
2. T.V or monitor a 19" will run you about 80$ for 720p if you want 1080 anywhere from 125-600$ and if you want 4k any where from 400-10K$
3. T.V seating this is all preference and you can use anything but that can be said for desk chairs as well but 10-1000$
4. Yearly Sub 60$
5.Internet Connection 25-400$ a month
So yes a few of those are share but starting fresh on a console is a hell of a lot more expensive.

good luck getting a pc that will play this for $400, and about the tv who doesnt have a tv?

Not actually that hard, I dont think this will be all that straining on the PC second plenty of videos on how to do a budget PC that matches or betters the PS4 and Xbone capability for about 400 U.S dollars. Also I work with T.V's you would be surprised how many people come in and say I got an xbox one or a ps4 but it doesnt support RCA. Want to know what they have to do? They have to buy a whole new t.v.
Im buying the PS4 version and then PC, I'll maybe even keep playing on ps4 if they get timed exclusives. On the dedicate server question, why? It's an MMO not CSGO.
dont know pc release date yet. maybe 3mths or 6 mths later. You still want to wait for the definitive version? Ps4 is still the main platform for Destiny 2.
I already preordered it for the PS4 and will buy it again on the PC once released to play with my PC friends. Love the first one.

if you ever read Sun Tzus Art of War and think in tactical terms you can see he basically does to the T the EXACT opposite of what he should do tactically.
when I say 'should' I mean he does the exact opposite of what is to his advantage tactically speaking.
anyway...we cant talk about that much more

I came into Destiny around The Taken King and loved it on Xbox. Leaving Xbox for PC cause PC is my main and i have more dedicated friends on PC, sad it's not on Steam but i can deal with Battle.net.

Or they realized they can make more money by adding the game to the smaller percentage of the big 3.

I'm glad you have the same problem as me, dont bother to get a Headshot on a ps4.
cant wait to try the PC Version
I'm gonna wait for the PC no matter what.
Like realy ?
Come on who are you kidding here ?
