Dark and Light News - During E3, Snail Games partnered with Nvidia to create a brand new Dark & Light video created using Ansel technology. With Ansel, players can literally take a screen, freeze time in game and apply filters, enhance the image and save it in a huge number of ways including panorama, wallpaper and "massive gigapixel" size.

    This feature will have to be restricted to safe areas only. I can already imagine raid wipes galore if the healer decides to take some shiny selfies.

    Pretty cool feature but I think serious players will know when it's safe to take these selfies . Pretty fantastic to record that epic kill with.

    Considering it uses the same ARK modified Unreal Engine, will it run as badly as ARK?

    I remember this on Ark, you couldnt use this on multiplayer server. Only when you were playing solo, so you could pause the game.

    Excellent direction. I know a few games where you can pose the people, etc. This is a great step in the right direction for those artistic people that can take wonderful screens.

    yet, this is an nvidia tech, nothing to show off as "your unique feature" imo. this obviously only works on nvidia cards (not saying that you shouldn't have one anyway tho...)
