imageCitadel: Forged with Fire Public Beta Coming This Saturday - MMORPG.com News

On Saturday, July 22nd from 6:00 am Pacific / 9:00 am Eastern, players can try out Citadel: Forged in Fire during the Public Beta. The event will allow players to take part from the start time through 9:00 pm Pacific / 12:00 am Eastern. Players will be able to try out spellcasting, building, exploring and crafting with all progress saved once Early Access begins the following week.

    @Kinring - The Steam page describes it like this: "This massive online sandbox RPG features elements of magic, spellcasting, building, exploring and crafting. As a newly minted apprentice of the magic arts, you will set off to the dangerous world of Ignus. Tame mighty beasts, forge alliances, explore uncharted territories or fight for dominance!"

    This game came outta nowhere already to a beta interested to see how it will actually turn out, skeptical at best

    40 players per server at launch. Not an MMO unfortunately. =(

    "We're starting with 40 on official servers at launch to ensure everyone can get in and play and will be driving it up as we go. We'd rather everyone have a smooth experience on day one rather than over-do it and have people lag hard/crash."

    Nah, from the trailer its FPS is already optimized better than DnL.

    Not a single thing in that video would make me want to play this game. This needs a lot more time in the oven.
