MXM disables Hardware?

Not sure what is going on but since this game didn't have game - guard enabled I went head and tried it like a month on and off yesterday upon trying to launch the game I noticed it was taking some of my hard-drives offline for no reason completely trying to take over the computer because it would become unstable to the point where it didn't even want to shut down, and in cases where a cooling system on a pc isn't properly configured would lead to an entire system over heating and failing because of a game disabling software, and services like this likely to prevent bots and cheats, but does cause damage to legitimate users?
Never had any problems with LOL, DOTA 2, Smite, but MXM seems to disable and do things it shouldn't be doing without even asking or informing the user in a notice besides the TOS that says they are not responsible for damages.
This is the main reason why I do not trust korean games trying to put in software which is an Anti-Cheat that is supposed to prevent cheating because it can do more harm than good.
