Unfortunately I'm not looking forward to any MMO at present. I've got hopes for Pantheon, but due to past disappointments seeing is believing. I'll still keep an eye on SC and Ashes and I did break my own rule of pledging to CoE (but only the minimal amount).
It's going to be years before any of these hit the shelves so I may become a bit more excited once they are closer to release and I hear some positive feedback from others.
In the meantime I've just got into playing Elite Dangerous and I've got plenty of single player games in my steam and GoG accounts I haven't played yet to keep me going.
Very seldom get hyped for games not out yet as they can change a lot from concept to launch. Will wait and see for most.

Non. A lot of these upcoming MMO's seem extremely niche. Add to that an extremely unpredictable payment system and I have little faith. F2P is a dead game to me.
Destiny 2 .. and probably will check out Master x Master.
But... you just said "Destiny 2" at the bottom of the first page. What gives? Is that the expensive wine you've been bragging about for all these years.

Nah .. i was bragging about CHEAP $50-$75 bottle of wine. Expensive ones go up to the thousands.
Must be it ... but hey, it is not like this forum does not encourage flogging dead horses. I suppose repeating something here is not really a sin.
Camelot Unchained and Crowfall. I was looking forward to Pantheon, but it is far too slow paced for my taste. I might give Destiny 2 a try as there is no release date on my first two.

For me, the only MMO I'm looking forwards to is Camelot Unchained.
It has a bespoke engine so is likely to be the only MMO that can actually support massively multiplayer gameplay
The combat / abilities system is something I've never seen before, yet looks like it will be complex, deep and very engaging
Building - this is the first MMO I've seen where you can both design and build pretty much whatever you want in the actual game world....and it's all destructible.
Horizontal Progression - power gaps will finally be a thing of the past. Can't wait to see this in action (assuming they achieve it).
RvRvR - I love large scale, faction versus faction pvp and this game is focused on it.
I do worry a little bit about the narrow focus of CU. Your choice is basically going to be RvR or crafting, but if you don't have a crafter class, you're basically only going to be pvping. Given the class interdependence, if you want to have fun you're going to need to be in a group. WAR was like this, and whilst the pvp was great in a group, sometimes you couldn't find a group, at which point the game became pointless (as pve was pointless and solo you were just cannon fodder).
I like the ideas behind Ashes of Creation, Pantheon, Crowfall and Chronicles of Elyria, I just hold little faith in them delivering. Ashes and Pantheon are both extremely large and complicated games, so I have no faith in them actually being able to deliver. They will deliver something, I just don't think it'll be anywhere near as good as we're hoping for.
Crowfall....I think it's going to be the pvp equivalent of Wildstar. Nothing overtly wrong, just lots of things that don't really mesh well together, resulting in a confusing an incoherent experience. It's open world pvp....but not really open world, instanced with limits and different rulesets, ending after a short period of time (i.e. no persistence). The eternal kingdoms are persistent, yet have no content, they're just trading outpost from other players and maybe one or two with pvp enabled. Even your character is not persistent - your bodies can die and need replacing. It really feels like they are removing all long term goals and persistence from the game and so are going to have to rely heavily on how fun the combat is and how enjoyable the campaigns are. Yet, they're going action combat, so no depth. Skills are leveled passively over time, so newbies (the lifeblood of a pvp game) will have to wait weeks / months before becoming competitive. They've also not chosen an engine that can handle large scale battles...
Chronicles of Elyria initially looked interesting. Again, I think a bit over ambitious, but as they'd built Chronicles of Spellborn I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, some recent monetisation stuff they did has completely put me off.
I am also curious about Amazon's New World, but as we know nothing about it except the general setting, I can't get excited. I also doubt it's going to be an MMO, but I'll have to wait and see.

I'm not getting excited until some of them start hitting beta. I lost most of my excitement for mmorpg development when I got to play Elder scrolls online and wildstar in beta, my last ounce of excitement died together with the slow death of everquest next.

Not one am I looking forward too. And its been that way for awhile now. This is my opinion only, F2P has destroyed many a good MMOs. I am an Old Gamer since ZORG and Pong , UO and EQ . Man these were the Glory Days. Dont get me wrong. I have played almost every MMO thats out. They just dont hold a candle to the classics. I dont dislike anyone that has a different opinion than me. Im just stating what I have liked and thats all.
Someone would say "but..but Destiny 2 is not an MMORPG " to which he would reply "not according to the popular gaming media and also there is no definition of an MMORPG".
Etcetera.
Right, Nari?
Of course .. in fact, it is going to be more precisely than "popular gaming media".
Massively overpowered listed destiny 2 in their "perfect 10: all MMORPG coming in 2017" list.
Honestly, there doesn't appear to be anything good on the horizon. I can't understand why so many games are "sandbox" or pvp focused. Am I the only one that sees these games as not appealing? I mean seriously, I can't be the only one, right? I scan these games and think, sandbox, nope not interested, ffa pvp, nope not interested, action combat, nope not interested. I mean as soon as I read that I swipe left. How do these developers not see it? If any of these styles worked, it'd already be a big hit. I just don't get it... /smh Seriously, we need to stop waiting for the next big thing and try to appreciate what we have. Appreciate what you enjoy playing. /end rant.

hmm .. destiny is a pretty big hit. Overwatch is a pretty big hit. If you forget the traditional mmorpgs, there are plenty of big hits.
Guild Wars 2 expansion in the immediate future, but Camelot Unchained in the further on future. Not sure when CU will be ready after the Beta 1 starts, because there is also a Beta 2 to go by as well. Beta 1 won't even have the Crafter class in it, from my understanding. That's the one reason why I picked up a Founders pack and am backing the game to be a realm crafter for weapons and armors. Unlike other games -especially GW2 for example- where crafting becomes an "everyone can do it, so you get to not really play the game as such" aspect of it. Kind of a bummer.
As with the Path of Fire expansion, the biggest issue I have with it is that all my ranged classes are getting Elite specs for MELEE. Ewww. I played mage style ranged classes for a freakin' reason and they shouldn't get an Elite spec to go hand-to-hand with tanks and thieves. It makes no logical sense. Whatever. At least it has a nice story and some new mounts. So there's those things. I'm just bothered at the direction that Elite specs are headed.

For the first time ever.....none. I went back to LOTRO due to disappointment in all the new crap coming out. I have been hyped for this or that, but nothing delivers. I will wait until I am pleasantly surprised by something, no more hype.

Crowfall, as someone who cares next to 0 about PvP this game has me intrigued.
Many of the big online games are f2p now (LoL, WoT, Hearthstone ...).

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
