Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!
This cash shop shit earns these companies so much more yet they continue to taint their own games just to squeeze more cash out of the whales. Why? Because there are players who WILL pay for it.
To apply this logic to a subscription price, we should have seen $50 a month premium options ... yet, somehow, we didn't. I can only assume it's because, even if a lowly $15 a month players at least pays something. Cash shops are based on metrics that proves losing 100k players who pay nothing is worth less than 100 who pay $1000's.
Something about cash shops turns game developers and distributors into casino mob bosses.

While overall I agree with you, if you're not trying to be the best at pvp then why even play the game? There really is not much else to do...
The "Complete Now" feature is just the last straw for me because it shows where the publisher's priorities lie, and those priorities don't include the actual gameplay or user experience in BDO.
My concern with them is how much can be purchased with real cash that impacts game play and progression. The game itself starts to shape around the whales. This can be avoided but I am sad to hear BDO taking continued steps to ruining their game.
Perhaps they plan on making sure that grind play is always the most profitable but if the margin of b2w tightens the risk is high that the game moves beyond the consideration of, especially, western gamers.

All in all I just hope some other games implement the great combat BDO has, everything else was just too much, not even to talk about enchanting and the fact that I needed to lookup 20 different sites and guides just to get a grasp about it...
