Why is the metal armor moving with their breathing?
nameplates all over ruining the view,no realistic air/physics movement with the ships, all combat is total SPAM,does not appear to have any friendly fire damage so again FAKE looking combat,so what exactly are they trying to design here?
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
So action combat, tab target, or hybrid for player combat?
So, I’ll be covering this more in my hands on with PVE, but it seems it’s a hybrid. However, I played I could not get tab targeting to work. It could simply have been a bug with my build since a few other journos I spoke to after our hands on said they could get it working just fine.
Do we know for sure yet what engine they're using? I heard years ago Unreal 3, but I've seen speculation that it's since been upgraded to UE4. Or maybe it's something else?

Either is an engine that ill do the job. Unreal 4 has some better shader tech, but a lot of that was patched into Unreal 3 source.
Nothing stopping them from upgrading, I'd question if they have a necessity. How much of that engine source did they make their own already after the TERA project?

Yea it's UE3 they are using. I at first thought it was either UE4 or they borrowed the engine from BDO, since in person while playing the game has the same overall aesthetic as BDO. But it is a form of UE3 they are using with this title as far as I know.
I'll reach out for clarification, though, just so we are 100% clear on this. I asked while at G Star, but I the translator I don't think caught that part of my question during our brief interview session.
