Double Standard.

As usual I'm seeing the double standard here in the forums. While I agree that they should have done more out of company stress testing to eliminate the lag we experienced, from what I've seen of their quick actions to fix the problems and continue to work on the bug fixes tells me that this company actually cares about their players.

So while the launch wasn't anything new as a veteran player of mmo's and one that left the PC mmo scene because of the serious problems the pc mmo companies caused with their economic model, I have to say that Tamriel is going to be my new home for some time.

To all those who continue to post negatively about a few launch bugs let me say this. Go back to your pc mmo's where you buy your gear (directly or indirectly) with real money, where you can't actually get rewards for gameplay, and where the mobile market model for gaming is king. 

 

Meanwhile the rest of us will be enjoying the game.

    Sorry. But no, i posted negatively on the console version of the game because it's god tier awful. I don't wake up thinking "I'm going to post horrible things about ESO - coz". Maybe I spoiled myself over the last few months by playing a lot of good action games and guild wars 2 and Tera. Nice functional controls, performs well and nobody trash talking on open mic when I run through town.

    I actually like TES. Marrowind is one of my favourite all time games. I wanted to like this game but it's just not a good game. This isn't like EVE or the Secret World were the game just isn't my cup of tea or Wildstar were a couple of things put me off. No, this is just a BAD game. The only positive thing about it is the music. Storyline - awful, graphic - outdated, controls - pathetic, UI - clumsy, value for money  - zero. It's just a bad game made worse on console.

    Honestly when you stated that you wake up thinking I don't actually see that in your posts. Had you woke up thinking you wouldn't be posting the things you post on the forums here because you'd be thinking.

    I have to agree with Arakazi, ESO is one of the worst mmos in a while.  Clunky boring garbage, a stain on the elder scrolls name.

    I'm not quite clear what "double standard" you are talking about. if someone is posting "negatively" about launch bugs" that has nothing to do with a double standard unless of course they are praising a game that has launch bugs.

    In which case you need to be specific.

    Glad you like the game. For me it's "ok".
