Keypads have been around for some time now but often go overlook for the great peripherals they are. Razer recently updated their already great Tartarus Keypad with the Chroma-enabled Tartarus V2. It expands on its predecessor by adding an additional row of programmable keys, a scroll wheel, and other improvements that bring it up with the times. It’s time for the Tartarus.

Did they increase the diameter of the thumb pad? The old version was too small to be useful for me.

Prehistoric n52? I got a logitech G13... you people have it nice :p haven't been using it much though, and won't be using that new one either, for the same old reason: righty only. Some things don't evolve, no doubt...

Still have a Nostromo N52 :-P It's like 10 years old, and still works flawlessly. They don't make hardware like that anymore.

I have a Belkin n52 and the n52te from Razer. They were incredible back in the days of Lineage 2. I haven't used either one in years since I can pretty much do everything I need with thumb buttons on a Razer Naga mouse now.

I been using single hand keypad with thumb stick for more than 12 years, love them, can't play anything MMORPG without them. But the thing with Razer is: The Orbweaver chrome which is a 129USD keypad with mechanical keys, you might think mechanical keys means it will last longer to justify the premium price, sadly, the thumb stick on my orbweaver chrome give up after 14 months,i dismantle it,turns out the thumb stick are using 4 lowest of low end micro switch.not even a three way micro switch like most of modem Mouse so you can easily replace them with better ones, its a two way ancient cheap micro switch, for the most important part of a single hand keypad!(without a working thumb stick, they are just half a keyboard) The only way i can find to buy these micro switch is one Ebay seller that ships form China.I won't forget razer for putting the very low end essential parts in a premium price product.I would suggest to anyone that thinking of buying this wait until someone dismantle this and see if the thumb stick gets and improvement, ideally a analog stick.
