This is the last game out of the Korea Last Gen batch. We had Archage , Black desert , and now Bless. We have every kind of game available to play in every genre of the mmo field.
Well, except a newer one thats actually any good, but yeah plenty of games out there for sure.

Bless Online Team: There will not be separate PVE or PVP servers, but we understand that many players do not wish to partake in PVP until it’s on their own terms. To help with this, there will be a consumable item that players can buy in-game to make them non-PVP enabled. This will work all the way to the level cap, last for a time, and has no cooldown. At the level cap, the item will still be obtainable, but via the Cash Shop
Good news for pvers
It depends on how much the item costs. There's an enormous difference between being able to buy such an account-wide item from the cash shop for $2/month and having to pay $2/day and having it be per character.

Pay for PvE only is one of the most idiotic ideas I've ever seen in an MMO. PvE'rs should be pissed that they are even floating this idea out there. I will play and not pay for those tokens. As a self prophessed sheep, I will be killed...so what.
Well in all fairness they've been soaking PVPers for years on items in the cash shop which are almost mandatory to buy if a person wants top end gear.
Is it any surprise someone finally figured how how to soak the PVEers as well?
I think their idea is a bit of genius really....evil genius but still genius.
Trust me, people will buy them, heck, if I play this game I'll probably buy some.
Just for the pleasure of seeing the gank squad coming over the rise and when they close in for the kill and suddenly its, whoops, PVP immune.

That idea is completely retarded.Probably can even cancel it so you can walk up immune then cancel and catch dude off guard.Or even still if not, just watch the timer, when it's about to end your opponent won't know it,sees your not pvp able so turns his back ,,then wham thanks for playing ...GG.

Worth every cent....
I'll buy them if there would be major PvP items on the cash-shop. Would just feel great to deflect all that P2W investment with my happy pills.

Aka Gamigo ( Aeria Games ) wanted to rush the game .. just for the $ , while Neowiz said, fuck off.
VERY good call on Neowiz for (mutually) breaking the contract with Aeria Games.
LOL What?!
Thats some incredibly delusional revisionist history right there.
Too bad straight up lying cant change what really happened.
Did you actually read the interview and my quoting from that interview ? So NeoWiz is saying that they wanted more time to polish the game, while Aeria Games did not agree and you come here and make me delusional ?
Really , learn to read and to have ( some ) common sense !

Will
wait until it's on sale or goes F2P and I don't have a backlog of
games. Then just enjoy the content up to max level and quit again. Won't pay full price if people aren't able to play the way they want to. Either have the balls to make it full 100% PvP and take the niche following or allow people to pick. Don't nickle and dime the shit out of people for a preference, after making them pay for the game, just for the privilege for them to actually have fun in the game you asked them to buy.
Pardon my language, but these guys are shit stains on the MMO genre and community as a whole if they actually do this.
Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing). German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century. Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now). I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things). In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while. If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.
Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this. If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own. Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis. Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.
I think one line people are over looking in regards to the pvp off potion at max level is that you can earn cash shop currency in game. You don't have to use irl currency to pay for it. Which I believe is a well thought out compromise. Now, we'll have to see the cash shop prices and how much cash shop currency we can earn in game.
Huh, is this true? Players can earn Cash Shop currency in game? Sounds to me that, if Cash Shop currency is tied to PvE content, the kind of content largely PvE'rs would want to do, this system would actually work.

Will it work? I don't know. Not able to see the future.
Well thought out?
Not in my opinion.
The backlash alone with tarnish the game's reputation. All for something that you have to likely spend extra time grinding each day or put down real money to avoid. Which means many who do tolerate it and have the time will cut in any beneficial profit margin they're sacrificing their reputation for. Might as well just go all in take people for all their worth before you fall; given that this game failed in three markets already (or so I read), that's a potential outcome. Everything about this seems like a half-measure.
This kind of behavior might be forgivable if the game was F2P and not B2P. You don't just ask people to pay a presumably full priced game and then ask more of them if they have a preference on how to play. They should grow a pair and just make it 100% PvP all the time and accept that PvE people may not buy it than to try to lure them in and expect more of them if they want to play PvE.
I'm morally against this even if it only costs $1 a month. Or just a couple of hours of work in game. Putting preference behind a paywall is horrid. Put actual content in there that requires work to get to to keep people playing.
Now, if it's an actual piece of content to the game with lore and fair mechanics -- and has no real world value -- then it may be interesting.
Such as a goddess statue that you walk up to:
"Pay tribute to the goddess to receive her -Bless-ing."
-- Protected by the goddess, players are unable to attack you.
...Though time gates for what you want would still be a fine line. So the mechanics would have to be interesting and the price (time investment) not steep at all.

I find the use of a pill rather surreal, but if you want a PvP MMO this seems well worth a look. Not for me as I prefer zoned/contested zoned PVP but some may like it. I do think some posters are critical of the MMO for not being what they want. Well we have had an awful lot of "not what we want" in MMO land over the years, so from that point of view Bless is no better or worse than most.
So you have to pay to avoid potential griefing...better than nothing but that is ludicrous (the severity depends on the price of such "safety tax.") I'm sure there will be a premium monthly "value pack" - that should (also) include a PvE/PvP toggle.

You're still paying more than everyone else who only PvPs. Might as well not bother playing if you only want to PvE. To be honest there is nothing in Bless for PvE players anyways. QoL stuff is better in other games, even BDO. Honestly there is better PvP in other games, so I really don't see what the appeal of Bless is at all, other than it's a new game in the West. Part of the reasons it failed in two markets already
there are already better PvP MMO games out there there is better PvE MMO game play out there in other games No QoL (Houses, fishing, trade system) Combat was really shitty in the beginning, and leveling was tedious (which they have fixed, but people already gave up) Graphics are not the best for a game of it's time Poorly optimized in the beginning (Unreal engine) the list could go on, but why bother? I guess play it if you want, but don't expect it to be the second coming of anything and don't expect to be happy paying more than someone who only plays for PK.
I played the Asian version of this game, its PvP is not up to par with either action based PvP games like BDO or twitch old school PvP ala WoW/DaoC so the idea of buying a game that is half-arsing PvE and risk it becoming a time based PvE pill that I will have to constantly buy over and over again because they need money? No thank you, it already smacks of money grab.
If it wasnt a money grab they just would have made a damn button to turn on/off PvP. Disappointing. The world is beautiful and it does have some nice features, combat and thus PvP is not one of them.

While I have no problem with carebears and whatever it is they want to do in MMOs, I do have a problem with toxic players. Based on your comment I assume the chat is gonna have just as much cancer as BDO chat xD
Looks like i will get to play this game after all, It was like 6 years ago i signed up to something called bless news and i had forgot all about it.
I'm not bothered about it being a PVP game as others seem to be.
But it is nice to know that there is an item to stop people ganking you over and over while you try and complete a PVE quests, I just hope it reasonably priced.
