gear grinding seems to never end with full-loot games like Conan Exiles or Darkfall New Dawn (Darkfall Rise of Agon too)... all items are crafted and getting the top end stuff is insanely difficult to get. Sure get adrenaline rush wielding your best stuff because if you die, you may lose it all... of course you don't need to wear the best stuff in the game to have fun. Its pretty easy to replace your standard gear.
