Echo of Soul News - The Echo of Soul Phoenix Facebook page has been updated with a new blog post to lay out all of the goodies new players will receive when logging in. Players can look forward to a number of "some unique bonuses right at the start of the adventure" as well as a blessing, a pair of pocket enhancements, a rare pet and a mount.

    This is exactly what people are talking about when they say gaming sites are part of the problem by shilling for crap game that should be left to die. 
    LOL -- shilling. How about MMO news on a slow news day. Not interested? Pass. If people aren't interested, no one will log in and, as you so nicely put it, the "crap game [will] be left to die". 

    But I tell ya -- post MMO news for the people who ONLY WANT TO HEAR MMORPG GAME NEWS and get bitch slapped for doing it. Conversely, if we don't post MMORPG game news for the purists, we get bitch slapped for not doing it.

    Just don't read what you don't want to read. There are still people playing and enjoying the game, and some people may have forgotten about the game and this news will bring them back potentially. Who are you to determine what is a crap game and what isn't, everyone can have their own opinions on titles. You seem to be rather upset about this game, so maybe just avoid all news about it.

    Its obvious that part of unlocking zandalari trolls for bfa is to complete daily troll missions irl, dont let it get to you Suzie. As for this game, I wonder what's making EoS keep this game around? Then again, Aeria has felt more like a general gaming news site than a publisher this past year so I guess I can't be surprised.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    Man i really enjoyed this game when it launched. But the last time i played it the world was empty. And some of the main quest story need you to kill group bosses and you could be the only person in a zone. Really sad when an online game is empty leaving you stuck because of it. I would really like to know how many still play it.

    Wow, terrible to see the toxic responses. Short item of interest (or not) maybe with some $$$ involved -- hey, gotta make a living, right?

    ANYway, what got me interested was wondering if people actually are drawn to trying out or returning to a game by offers of such virtual goodies as special mounts and pets. That kind of bling never held much attraction for me, but I guess there must be a lot of other people who get a big kick out of it. Same with the junk in the loot boxes in Ovewerwatch. Me: "Ho hum." But games keep doling out stuff like that so I guess it helps make other players happy.

    Game isn't 100% complete crap, for a free to play its one I COULD have spent some time on.


    BUT!


    The company had to go and pull that gender locking bullhocky and thus makes me no longer want to bat a seeing-ball-hair

Maybe those who don't like: p2w, f2p cash grab, being lied to and decived, insane marking budget for cheap games, the targeting of vulnerable people, the obscene greed, the gimmicks, the dumming down, the "lets try to get everyone to play our game for more profit" schenanigans that produce shitty diluted game that satisfies pretty much nobody, etc...

    Stop settling for polished (in the best cases) turds.
