Crowfall News - The Crowfall site has been updated with a new look at the art behind the male and female High Elves. The developer post goes into detail about designing the proper aesthetic for them and that all artwork has been completed. What that means, of course, is that both male and female High Elves will probably be playable in the upcoming Pre-Alpha 5.6.

ESO has 'em too. For my $, that makes WoW more unique by NOT having 'em. ;)

A couple images, first of all - H.Elves have two sub-races, MoonElves and SunElves:

    ...then, a closer look:

I was super excited that Blizzard finally gave in and made playable high elves. Like they kept saying NO to classic WoW, but finally are making it.

    But its crowfall lol

...Time is constant, it keeps moving forward and yet the lack of urgency to get this game completed is unreal, just liek shadowbane. I feel imho they will have the exact same problem as shadowbane, no money , release a buggy piece of shit that will need to be patched for half a decade before it is remotely playable at the scale it was intended. I'm at the point in reading these crowfall articles and not even knowing or caring what is happening with the game because they are dragging their asses. IMHO
Crowfall has so many issues that I actually could write a small book about these, but money is certainly not one of them; Also, 3 years after Kickstarter (March 2015) they are on quite normal spot with MMO development cycle in mind.

To be more specific - even if they somehow had zero licence money from Russia/China/Oceanic (so far EU/Travian gave them $2M), if they don't sell any more equity ($14M just over last couple years), if there is no typical huge influx of cash in beta, furthermore if their pledgemeter magically stops at this very second...AND if they,in spite of all that, for whatever reason decide to keep on working with full team, i.e. not downsize, based on their burn rate - they'd still have money til late 2019.

They even decided to spend lion's share of recently raised $6M on an ad campaign before launch, quite a luxury for an indie startup company. For reference - https://crowfall.com/en/funding/

    Bro, it's 2018 .... I just double face palmed. It's like reliving shadowbane ... Its Q2 already. ...

The person who has never spent a second even testing the game is a prophet!  All bow!

Love this art style, Realism ages badly, but this stylized art, stays great for far longer time. The trick is doing it well, and I like the look they are giving out.

Egotism is the anesthetic that dullens the pain of stupidity, this is why when I try to beat my head against the stupidity of other people, I only hurt myself.

The armor looks pretty interesting as a whole for the race. Typically don't play Elves, but I enjoy their fantasy or having them in a world. If only to fight with or enjoy the architecture, aesthetics and beautiful scenery of the various scenes that are typically portrayed for them.

At this point, I'm just boycotting WoW until they either get balls and say "we don't want to" rather than cite reasons that were already thrashed to pieces by various sources, or they just do it. There have been pretty good sites, posts and videos that debunk everything Blizzard has said, and even their last two expansion are being ignored what with us being a "unique" character in the world -- recognized as the one and only Garrison general and owner of the Ashbringer in story (despite there being millions).

When a reason for the Silver Covenant and Highvale Elves and Stormwind and Dalaran Elves comes along to join the Alliance, it is clearly evident in the expansion theme and main feature that they would have to take part. Highvale will definitely not stay out of it logically if the Wildhammer Dwarves are drafted. More Elves were hotfixed into Stormwind over the months. They even say how much they want to bring the old WCII/III days and give the horde a lot of what they want (I've been horde since TBC but an ally fan since WCII) so far (all my orcs are going to be upright the next time I do play). Probably wouldn't even play an Elf on it, but I recognize the shit that's going on and that they've been among the top three requested races since Vanilla WoW was in Alpha. I still remember the talks on the testing forums and the comic strip made regarding them before gnomes were announced as the fourth race for the Allies.

I would have understood them not wanting to use the same skeleton, but they gave up that when the implemented void elves from right field. Now we have three different types of purple elves. They didn't think that through too well when they didn't change the Nightborn's colors either.

Have already completed all the Mage tower fights and unlocked every artifact, and have been in the Alpha since it began. Only been impressed by two zones and every feature I tested was just something I could honestly pass on for a few years. So this boycott doesn't hurt in the slightest. Especially since both FFXIV and ESO have grown into great games, and GW2 is learning with each expansion and will hopefully perfect the formula by the time Cantha shows up in the next expansion (assumption).

Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.
