    Best time to start , since in about 3 months, the new expansion will go live , andso , you have the perfect 3 months to level up chars, know the game and having fun.

    It's good if you're looking for a well rounded MMO that has a good story, good voice acting, and I like the art style personally myself.

    It's one of the major games in this genre. Worth trying it on that basis alone just to see what you think. 

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    I just got back into it. . now waiting for the next expansion.  You can buy that one and get Legion free now so There isn't a better time in that sense.  It will keep you busy for quite awhile.

    Honestly, I'd wait for BfA pre-patch since artifacts will more than likely be gone by then and the combat changes will probably be implemented by then as well like they did in Legion's pre-patch otherwise there's a huge chance you'll hate your class going into BfA after experiencing your artifact since a large amount of those things wont be going forward (kind of like class false advertising on Blizzard's part). That said, if you really wanna play and probably wont notice a huge class change from going from legion into BfA, probably try fire mage/beastmastery hunter if you like range and frost dk/fury warrior(?)/assassination rogue if you like melee. There's others that kind of dont have a whole lot of change in how they play but their effects in their rotation are getting an overhaul in the beta currently, like ele shaman pretty much functions the same but has different effects like earth shock and stuff.
