WWII Online, the first MMO FPS is celebrating 17 years active
Hey MMORPG community,
If you haven't heard, WWII Online is about to celebrate its 17th anniversary here on June 6th (originally released in 2001). Some of you may have heard about it, others perhaps not. It's a really cool game that captures the scale of WWII in western europe. You can play in 200+ player battles in either the air as a fighter / bomber, on the ground as an infantryman or tank, or as a paratrooper dropping in, or as a ship captain in a destroyer or transport. There's tons of game play options not mentioned as well.
It's also pretty realistic as the weapons are accurately modeled as are the munitions that they fire.
