Bless News - The Bless Online Steam page has been updated with a developer's diary detailing a number of balance changes that will be coming to the game in today's update. The update comes after observations that character stats were "set differently from what we intended" with the result that most players were only using a few sets of skills rather than a broader variety.

    well if the first dungeons went back to there normal russian/korean difficulty then thats great imo but the problem is with mystic out of the picture the palladin lacks healing skills for the lvl 13 dungeons unless they already updated these skills, guess ill find out after work :(

    To assist in understanding what happened and the current state of the game I offer the following report:

    The majority of issues from the two-day head start are gone. The servers are stable and character creation restrictions were lifted early morning of the fourth day of access (a one day wait for standard game passes). All-in-all, they sorted out the launch woes quickly.

    It appears that the issues came down to more people than expected (they couldn't do preorders for an estimate as a first-time Early Access publisher on Stream) and AWS database servers that couldn't handle the amount of I/O generated by the load. They quickly launched additional servers and paid for higher tier database servers that they were able to swap to with a one- hour maintenance during the first two days.

    By the actual Early Access launch day (Wednesday), they fixed the loading screen issue where people were getting stuck. As compensation for users that had to endure the issues from the first two days, they provided $20 of the game's premium currency. Owners that recieved and accepted friend copies of the game via Collector's editions also recieved the compensation.

    As the fifth day, 15v15 PvP sessions are live and additional end-game PvE releases on or around a week later

    Problem is ppl are going to always complain no matter what but im glad that they do and quit the game cause this way we get a healthier community

    Whats the difference in having a QA or not ppl are going to complain anyway aren't you? this is how they choose to do it just like you choose to play the game. ;)

    I think that "needs across the board" isn't exactly what they are doing. The heals were crap, and some of the offensive abilities were OP for several classes, resulting in enemies dying much more easily than they should. I applaud any move that address clearly recognized imbalance issues. On the other hand, I hope they balance the TTK with acceptable XP gains, and I can't deny that I also wish they would be more transparent with what they are doing.

    I'm just waiting for a F2P overhyped sandbox WoW clone with full PVP, epic raid bosses, instanced group content, and Crysis-quality graphics to come out. That, or something fun.

    As usual with new MMO's people are going through the limited content much faster then anticipated so, they need to be slowed down.

    The difference in having QA is keeping the players that do choose to play your game happy and preventing any obvious issues from arising to disturb or anger them. Plenty of players that wanted to and continue to give Bless a chance are highly upset over very obvious issues that would have been caught in the most basic of QA.

    The fact of Zerkers gap closer being locked to a stance(meaning you can't do pvp if you don't pick that stance). The fact that Zerker's gap closer uses rage(meaning, you can't charge at start of combat, like you can in every other game with a charge skill). The entire game just being a 2 shot fest.

    It's just a joke. All of this would have been solved by 1weekend beta.

    The best constructive opinion in any forum is just take everyone's post as a voice of opinion(s). Like any topic, Bless Online will be subjected to ppl's opinion regardless of any reason and that applies to just about anything under sky atm. I can take it to a degree that every post is as valid as any Kings or Queens.

    Any news how they handled the item duping and people who bought and refunded the founder packs to get all the items without paying the full price multiple times?
    Cause nothing more annoying as to join an open world pvp game with people runing around in max armor and weapons one week after release.

    We were able to identify the cause of the duplication bug while investigating it as our highest priority, and are taking action to resolve the issues caused.

    Action details:
    We will collect all the items/gold earned from this duplication bug.
    If the duplication bug was used less than 10 times, we will issue a ‘Warning’.
    If the duplication bug was used more than 10 times, we will block their accounts for three days.
    If the duplication bug was used more than 10 times and considered to be deliberate, we will block their accounts for 15 days.

    Action will take place on May 31st and the characters may be temporarily restricted during the item/gold collect process.

    --- As for founders items, I have not been able to find the official answer but I have seen reports of ticket requests being fulfilled to repack the rewards for use on a different server.

    Sounds like the claims that they've fixed the bug is false then if thats the last thing they said about it. They're just talking about banning people and how they identified the cause. Nothing about having fixed it just yet though.

    Correct. The developer did not claim to have fixed the dupe issue, yet. They only claimed to know that it exists and that they can detect it. Any claims that it is fixed do not originate from the developer at this time.

    That is in reference to the action against abusers of the duplication exploit but not as a date for a permanent fix.

    I have been trying to get an answer on whether the dupe exploit has been fixed, Yet no one can give me an answer, I have made a thread on Steam, I commented on Reddit under the recent patch notes, I have commented on what Neowiz posted on the 31st May about the issue.

    There is nothing no where saying it has been fixed, It's not even in today's patch notes even though there is a couple of bugs they are fixing, but nothing about fixing the dupe.

    Given that its been known about for years, I highly doubt they even know how to fix it. I would belittle them but FFXI has an item dupe in it that's existed since Treasures expansion that SE still hasn't fixed for about 10 years so....What they ended up doing about it was just tracing people who interacted with it and banned them after admitting that they couldn't fix it.

    You again with "why hide informations???" . Last time I read this exact same line from you, was when you were 110% sure, that Bless will be P2W , bla bla and stuff. 

    Now you do the same. Cry me 5 rivers please .. or wait ! Seriously , I have a better idea. Why not you go play Bless JP ?! Because you keep crying over Bless EU/NA. Go ..enjoy it ..


    Now, about the topic. I had to check this myself and see how big of a difference is. 

    Is big, is .. around 120% ? nerf in skill damage. So , I /quit ..




    NOT. 

    It feels much better now, seriously. Sure, it was ... "kinky" 3 shooting mobs , but other then that, the whole 3 shooting enemies was dull. I never changed Stances before. Like, never. I was just using 1 Chain and that's it. 

    Now you really need to change Stances, make nice and useful combos...now you need skill to be effective in combat. This will be SO much better in PvP, Dungeons , PvE , etc.

    Whoever says otherwise, have now idea how the old skill damage was affecting Bless in the long term.

    Without any more details , I would like to summon the ones crying over this yesterday? Even when they said they will change stuff. You didn't expected them to fix this so fast, right ? Like the Launch problems?...Yeah ..

    Oh well. Looking forward for the next wave of QQ-ers "...but but now is TO hard!!" , while they don't even play the game ..

    Paladin is the healing class. I was disappointed that mage was strictly damage, most mages have a little bit of everything when specced properly which is why I went that way.  

    But not this time.  Not even decent crowd control, it doesn't make sense.  But yeah it's going to be rough for mages. People thought they were overpowered, but most of them didn't actually play them in the late game,  as one who has, you can get destroyed by high level mobs pretty quickly if your abilities miss and you're overrun by a couple enemies.  Now with decreased damage, staying alive is going to be extremely tough.

    I haven't seen any posts on Steam, Unless they get deleted so quick i missed them.

    The only thing i can find when i google banned from Bless online for duping is this one, It's only one person saying they have been banned, Usually you get a wave of people saying i was wrongly banned.
