You're right! I'll correct it. I blame a terrible storm, no power and no sleep.

    Thanks!

Even though it wasn't at the same time as the PC launch Cryptic is getting better at narrowing the gap between content releasing between PC & consoles.

This expansion has a few really nice big hits with it & some big misses too.

Nevertheless, glad to see those that participate in the console STO gets their opportunity for this.

I definitely recommend the Gamma Starter Pack, it was a good value for it's cost & for what it offered for PC.

The episodes & voice-work is top notch, perhaps the best Cryptic has ever done, quality over quantity with this expansion however there are already more episodes to be released planned.

Hate to say it, but as of this post it is still wrong. It's supposed to be July, not June =)

Do you still have to play as a captain? I think I'd much rather play as part of a crew, and be the science officer or engineer, maybe even a doctor or nurse. Less action, more RP and socialization. Or maybe I'm just dreaming again.

They introduced more new bugs than they did new episodes. Took them overo a month to fix most of them, yet many still remain.

It's entirely possible and somewhat easy to reach max level without firing one phaser or plasma cannon. Many players log in for only for socializing, while using their duty officers (npc's that you control) to earn xp or crafting mats or in-game currencies, etc. It takes less than10 - 15 minutes to select their assignments and then you'll be free to hang out at Quark's or visit the Academy to recruit higher ranking npc's or build sand castles on Risa.

    All free of charge too.

To be honest, the separation between PC and console releases is the best thing about the console versions. The console releases get to miss all of the nasty showstopping bugs that always creep through into the PC releases. There are still a few here and there, but usually the worst of the bugs get squashed in the month or so between them. I agree about the gamma starter pack, it's well worth the money, and in this particular case, so is the big bundle. There's not a bad ship or item in this batch of expansion bundles, unlike previous ones.

I noticed how you could level up just by sending your crew on missions.  It's a nice alternative.  The regular missions are very much worth doing also as they include space and ground missions and some give really nice rewards.  Some of the stories are well written.
