Monster Hunter World News - Monster Hunter World players will soon be able to take on Behemoth from Final Fantasy XIV as part of a new crossover event. Players will be able to start hunting this big boy starting August 1st and will be able to craft armor similar to the FFXIV Dragoon armor. In addition, new weapons, Cactuar, Moogles and aetheryte crystals will become available.

    All these cool console events make the wait for PC version borderline traumatic.

    It's a shame that FFXV couldn't have been a better game. It's beautiful, heartwarming, relaxing, and unique, but Square has no idea how to design an open world, much less tell a complete story in one.

    Edit:
    I had just assumed that it was a FF15 crossover, not a 14, because 15 is the game that has become known for crossovers. Guess I was mistaken. 

    Still, this is exciting and I hope that PC will get to experience this.

    Nope, no FFXV crossover event. The event originally didn't happen 2 years ago because yoshida "wanted people to experience the title before adding a cross event to prevent spoilers." Fastforward 2 years and the question about the cross-over is responded by "its still in the planning phases" or evaded completely. 14 didn't even get anything when PSO2 added the odin fight to their game.

    awesome! MH is a really crazy game, adding crossover would kill my summer!

    Wow. They brought my favorite class in FF to MH. FUCKKKKK. Now Im hyped for the PC version. Hope it comes to the pc version as well. This was an insta-sale to me.

    I remember asking if I could play this when it came out on PS4 but someone said combat was a bit hard for someone unused to action combat...../sigh wistfully.

    No, it means that when it comes to the PC there will be a lot more gameply in it to play. :)
