If you would love to take your MapleStory adventures on the road, Nexon has you covered and has given you exactly that for both iOS and Android mobile devices. MapleStory M is an all-new mobile adventure based on the original side-scrolling 2D MMORPG. It’s like a spin-off of the original, and one you can take with you everywhere you go.

I never did get on the MapleStory train. But MapleStory 2 has me curious. I'm going to download this, regardless of sponsored post! :D

I have a few friends and streamer buddies who adore the original PC game.

I've been playing since I got back from work this afternoon. I use the term play SERIOUSLY loosely. Basically I click a couple of buttons and my pig takes me to wherever, and fights whatever, and then takes me back. I click a few more times and go. Not sure this is my thing.

I tried it for awhile. Not a bad game, but not my thing. Like Bill, I never did get in on the first one, but I have been enjoying both betas so far for MS2. I will most likely continue to play Maple Story 2, even though I have already uninstalled the mobile game.

I am not even going to bother. Maple Story 2 already failed to hit the mark in 2015 in Korea, now they are trying here. We have not had a successful Korean import in a long time.

Isn't Nexon the studio that is supposed to be doing the FFXI mobile game? Wonder if MapleStory M will be any indication as to the quality of that game. Might be worth checking out at least.

It's a mobile game , most mobile games have auto play. You can turn off the auto feature easily @Void425 lol you don't know what you are talking about MapleStory 2 is popular in Korea but most people in Korea play MS1 still. Over here in the Global version people are only really playing in NA Reboot and Bera. So the hype for MS2 is much more than Korea. MS2 over here has multiple servers available for different regions so is much more popular than KMS2 which has 1 server. it hasn't "failed" in korea Koreans just say it's a flop because it's not as populated as KMS1 which you can barely log in servers right now because they are so busy. Just because something wasn't a big success in Korea doesn't mean it can't do well over here. (It's done pretty good if you ask me anyway) The audience for MS2 is much higher in the global market due to people having left ms1 already

I'm enjoying it, majority of the early grind up to about 85 is all auto, after that it mixes it up a little with manual grinding, dungeons, partying with friends.

Quests do begin to die out in later levels so it is mandatory to grind.

chaoscauser You must have an odd definition of "failed" then. In your own words you describe the game as less popular then the origianal, and a "flop", yet you still claim I am wrong in calling it a failed game in korea.

The M in Maplestory M stands for maintenance btw. :P

Check a few gameplay tips on reddit. One important one is that you can close the game when using Auto-Battle function.

    Cheers.
