Thanks to travel and accommodations provided by Bungie and Activision, we had the opportunity to experience Destiny 2: Forsaken before launch!

This video contains my first impressions of the opening story mission "Prison Break" along with hands-on experience with Gambit, Forsaken's new PvPvE mode.

A copy of Destiny 2: Forsaken was provided by Activision.

Wow (not that wow). My experience in PvP is with MMORPG's mainly. I've never seen this type of PvP(vE) mode. It sounds interesting. And I may just pick this up to try it out. I think it hit in on the nail for me when the author pointed out that it was something for people who are not good at PvP to participate in (I mangled that paraphrase, but if you watched toward the end you'd get it). Thanks for the heads up.

I picked up Destiny 2 for the Holiday Weekend and I played through everything up to but not the Forsaken DLC so far. This is an outstanding game. The story cut scenes are very well done, the world is beautiful and the music score is beyond awesome. I like everything about this game with the exception of places where they felt they had to add in parkour puzzles to get from one area to another... man I really cannot express now much I hate those. But besides the parkour issue I have I would highly recommend you playing this game.

I did my first play through as Warlock and I just created a Hunter which I will start playing tomorrow. Once I get a feel for the Hunter I'll decide if I want to go Hunter or Warlock as my main since I don't think the Titan fits my play style.

Gambit actually sounds really like my cup of PVP in shooters. Competitive PVE.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

I think Bill nailed it in its essence: Gambit is competitive PvE.

Gambit is a ton of fun and the Drifter seems like a really interesting character - hoping to learn more about him after launch!

These are some of the reasons why I love Destiny

These are some of the things that make me not like Destiny as much.... ;)
