You won't believe what I call Destiny! Is D2 worth picking up if I like...?

I heard a lot of bad things about Destiny 2, but is the new expansion make it a lot better?

I've been looking for a PVE MMOFPS ever since firefall went down. Before that I really loved Tabula Rasa. And I loved Destiny 1 as the last MMOFPS I played, but always avoided Destiny 2 cause of the controversy around it. But there isn't many PVE MMOFPS games that exist, so guess can't be too picky.

I don't have the game or any of the expansions though, and I wouldn't be able to buy the game+DLCs all at the same time. So I dunno if it be worth it just by itself as I slowly add dlc to it every month.

    That didn't answer how Destiny 2 is with the new expansion. And if I liked firefall/tabula rasa if I would like Destiny 2.
