WHAT WOULD MAKE PLAYERS RETURN/(NEW) TO THE GAME? (Feedback from all)
Please keep this constructive as possible as I'm going to give all this feedback to Broadsword to see if they they can improve the things you mention on this post. I'm going to repeat please keep it civil and constructive so I can give a good argument!
The feedback can be from anyone that plays or doesn't play the game. I just want all players to express their views so we can improve this DAoC and make it as great again as it once was.
The real issue's I see is the following
- Population
- Old graphics/UI
- Lots of unfixed bugs
- No returning player trial
- Not enough PvE/RvR raids at certain times
- Items to expensive
- Not enough Battleground/live events
- No Realm timers

No bufff bots, or give every player the same free buffs. All gear of any kind freely or easily obtainable, hell, sell it in the cash shop, for very cheap, like an entire kit for $10.
Basically totally level the playing field. Let players make any fotm build they wish, and if everyone decides to play the exact same one, so be it. (TankMage Wars Online)
I always wondered what DAOCs RVR might have been if it really did come down to player skill or knowledge of their class and not because they played or won more, using hard to obtain high end gear or abilities.
Reward players in some fashion other than more power over their peers.
Implement friendly fire so an ill timed mezz or root might lock your own realm mates down as well as the enemy.
More to consider of course, but I'd be interested in trying a version of the game where players didnt have to endlessly give away advantage, especially as they tried different alts or builds.
